Hi Rob,
Preformance is very good, the product softens the stubbles and it feels good on the skin. Under normal room temperature, it has a consistency like soft butter, as soon as you apply it to your face, it becomes liquid because of the body warmth.
During winter, with warm and dry climate in the house, I had issues as the Monoi became liqid already in the can.
Marco

Thanks Marco, appreciate the reply.

Birthday shave!

My first use of Wool Fat Soap and the RazoRock 400 plissoft noir
Both performed well, and I'm looking forward to using them more.
I used a tester of Black Orchid at the weekend and I can't tell the difference between it and the Oud 24 Hours.
Thanks to those of you guy's who recommended the Oud.

Chinese takeaway devoured and chocolate cake will be served soon !

Happy birthday!

Having been swooned by my growing collection of Parker razors i haven't been giving my other razors much attention
lately..My 37C/Rapira Platinum Lux today, was superb combo..A effortless three pass + pick ups sublime shave with no errors to report..
I had to look at the razor to make sure that i put a blade in it.. A extremely sharp smooth efficient duo,one that i will use
Much more frequently, in my Razor/blade rotation.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.

Enjoy your day,ladies & gentlemen.

Thursday Morning;

The Super Speed's first outing, from me at least. Did alright but I think I'm more used to the blade feel of the Futur. That's not to say it performed sub-par. I managed a respectable shave in one pass and touch ups with a newly-loaded Derby Extra. The P&B Albion is a corker, whipped into shape with the Midas brush, and I finished off with a nice spritz of Caldey Island Lavender parfum.

3 consecutive days shaving and no issues. Nice and clean for work! Have a good Thursday, all.

Greetings

Thursday 18th May 2017
Prep: Shower
Razor: Valet Autostrop
Blade: Valet Autostrop Stropped
Brush: Plisson Synthetic
Soap: Vitos Extra Super
Aftershave: Simple Moisturiser
EDP: Miller Harris Tuberosa

Yesterdays shave was with the same blade fresh from the wrapper and unstropped, now whilst the shave was satisfactory it was certainly no more. I tried this deliberately as all the old Valet instructions recommend stropping the blades prior to their first use; today's shave with the same blade stropped (five laps on feox impregnated leather) was in a different league, not much sharper but a whole lot smoother and more face friendly.

Regards
Dick.

Not a good shave, the culprit being the proline blade, this was my third shave with this blade. The first shave was good but was left with some redness/burn on my neck the second and today's shave wasn't good, with the alum block needed to stem the flow of blood from a few nicks and weepers around the mouth and neck area + my neck now has razor rash ( not a good look )
I braved the aftershave, BLOODY HELL!!!
Maybe I was unlucky in that the first blade out the box wasn't fit for purpose.
I won't make a RASH decision and give up on them just yet.:D

ENJOY YOUR DAY FELLAS

This Semogue boar improves every time I use it. The tips are getting softer and softer. and it whips a lather so easily. The General with the Proline performed at the top of the game as usual.

Wish you all great shaves!!!!
