S.O.T.D. Saturday 18th Febuary to Friday 24th Febuary 2017

Was away for a few days with the Mrs, some changes to my routine.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, King of Shaves pre-shave oil.
Razor - iKon shavecraft 101 (my go to razor when traveling, possibly because of the robustness and build quality).
Blade - Wilkinson Sword Classic (day 1).
Soap - Body shop Maca Root Shave Cream.
Brush - No brush.
Post shave - Cold water rinse.

I got some Maca Root cream after reading generally good comments about that shave cream from here. I don't know if I was shaving in an area with hard water (Glasgow), and/or if it is best applied with a brush, however, the Maca root seemed to stick to my face during the shave and I had to rise the razor frequently, as it seemed to clog with the cream quite a bit.

A decent to pass shave, with no issues. Enjoyed the iKon 101.

I got dragged round the shops, this afternoon, and decided to treat myself to some L'Occitave Cade Rich Shaving Cream and the Cade aftershave balm, again after seeing this appear here. Looking forward to giving that a try.

All the best,

Chris

Used some of the products I have received from our good friend @Oomer over time, the lovely and great performing Mr Taylors cream, Tabac a/s, complimentary Nivea balm and an amazing and beautiful looking brush.

I've been using this brush for a little while now and it performs beautifully with soap and creams, lathered in a bowl or face.
It's a Vulfix handle with a razorock plissoft 22mm synthetic knot in there, picture doesn't really do it justice. It has a beautifully almost purple tinge to its tips and is softer than anything I've felt before, with a great backbone.
Thank you @Oomer, if I could only have one brush for the rest of my life it'd be that one and I'd enjoy using it every time.
