My Gillette Slim Twist is a wonder, matched up with the Cella soap,my shave today was excellent.;)...

Since my introduction to DE shaving in 2016,i've aquired various shaving products,i now have a fairly good idea what works for me, and what doesn't..Cella,Tabac, Palmolive shave sticks , are now my go to soaps, not because of their cost value, no..because these products, for me anyway, always give a wonderful protection, great slickness and overall give me superb no irritation shaves..what more can i say, apart from it's a pleasure to shave with these soaps, and IMHO are up there with the so called artisan soaps.
A wonderful 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave, with no errors to report.Enjoy your day, gentlemen.

My brush starts to shed more than just one, as was usual. This one came from Simpsons replacing the first "shedding like crazy" that I bought there. Maybe the trainee are responsible to make the cheap brushes and the senior build the gorgeous one. Anyway, nice and superclassic shave, with these lovely Musgo&Floid Iberian classics. Such a double team.
Have a nice Thursday, gentlemen.

Morning gents,

It's been around a week since my last shave, I was horribly ill for a chunk of last week, one of the worst I've had in my life, so that was fun! Knocked me for 6 and didn't fancy doing anything for a couple of days after as well.

Anyway, (that's) passed now, so it was back to shaving and I was looking forward to chopping all that fuzz off! This was quite a special shave as it was the first time using a scuttle that the Missus bought me as an anniversary present. It's a gorgeous, scuttle. I've included the sellers photo as well because mine doesn't show it properly at all. It's been ages since I last used a bowl or scuttle and my technique was indeed lacking, but it was a pleasure to use it regardless.

It was also my first use of the 1912 Le Bleu shaving soap. No-one has mentioned it on the Wickhams thread that I can tell, but I really like the little touches to the labels that are different to the normal 1912s, the blue beard and blue writing, a nice touch I thought. A lovely soap as well, great fragrance and the usual superb 1912 performance. Well done @Fox and @Mr Bigmem on a great group buy. Even the Simpsons Duke 3 in Best brush that still hasn't given me its best yet is starting to yield and perform better than it has done so far.

King Cobra came out again, I love this razor, Kai Pro Touch MG blade on its 4th outing and an effortless two pass shave ensued. Spot on, I'm happy!

Enjoy your Thursdays chaps!
