The Speick stick makes a welcome appearance although after this shave I've decided to grate the stick into a pot as I prefer loading from said.
Going to give the General a short holiday after this shave to give my other razors a chance.
See you then!

The plissoft synthetic brushes have a great reputation for been a very good brush. Synthetic's don't have much backbone, but that doesn't mean they won't perform well.I mainly have Semogue boar brushes, which inho are excellent for both bowl & face lathering, however my Omega S Synthetic i find really good with creams & croaps,(proraso).. i also have a unbranded chinese synthetic, which is a wonderful performer too.
Take a look at maggard's (maggard's own) synthetic brushes mate, they are fantastic and cheap as chips.;)

Evening,

My morning shave, today:

Pre-shave - warm shower, Wright's cold-tar soap and Proraso pre-shave cream (green).
Razor - Muhle Rocca R96.
Blade - Gillette Silver Blue (day 1).
Soap - Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol Soft Shaving Soap.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2.
Post shave - Myrsol "Plastic Shave" After Shave Massage.

Very enjoyable 2 pass shave.

Pre: shower with bulldog face wash
Soap: OSP 'Vintage' cream
Razor: Feather artist ss
Blade: pro
Brush: Bluebeard revenge synthetic
Post: Nivea sensitive balm

Evening gents I hope everyone is well and good.I"ve been out in Germany for the month with work and this is pretty much the set up I've been using all month, I've been rotating through the osp vintage cream, osp 1882 cream and the body shop macca root cream. All three of them haven't let me down once, I must say the osp vintage cream scent is abit lost on me, it reminds me of going to the Black Country museum as a boy and visiting the sweet shop they have there, could anyone enlighten me as to what the scent is supposed to be ? Not a moan in any accounts just abit of confusion about what it's supposed to be.
The feather ss has been outstanding aswell all month, it hasn't given me one bad shave, I've been mainly using my straights back at home but I feel I'll have to add the ss back into my rotation more. I popped a fresh pro blade in at the beginning of the month and it's still going strong, no tugging just real lovely smooth shaves.
Anyway I hope everyone has a good week and I'm looking forward to being home with the family, have a good one gents.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, Bulldog Face Wash and Proraso Red
Razor: Fatip Piccolo
Blade: Personna Super Med Prep (#2)
Brush: Hans Baier Silver Tip
Cream: L'Occitane Cade
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: Nivea Replenishing Balm

Back to the Fatip Piccolo for a quick no fuss smooth and close shave, the Med Prep Blade seems fine in the Fatip.

A shave of firsts for me tonight. First time using my GEM OCMM, I've also got the clog-pruf which gives me great shaves. I've had the OCMM just as long but never got around to shaving with it. It was also my first use of a B&M Seville sample kindly provided by @Blackmass. Another thing that was a long time coming!

The B&M Seville performed very well indeed paired with the Simpsons Duke 3, though I wasn't too sure on the scent. Still 2/3 of the sample left and I'm looking forward to more shaves with it, not a scent I think I will go for in the future though. Big thanks to @Blackmass for giving me the chance to try it.

What a great shave it was though! Loads of beard, 5/6 days and I had a feeling that the OCMM would do well with that sort of growth. That feeling was proven to be correct. It mowed through effortlessly. Two passes later and I'm smooth and feeling good. Interested to see how this razor will feel with only a day or twos growth but we shall see!

Have a good night gents.

Glad the soap performed OK. I think the scent will be better suited to the warmer months.
