A surprisingly good shave after minimal prep. I took my time and shallowed my angle. I'd say I'm 95% there with this one... I could be smoother in places with touch-ups but didn't want to risk it. I'm pretty smooth and irritation free. The alum barely bit me today, contrary to my last shave. This fine, sharp razor made things easy for me today. This Extro BR is phenomenal stuff. It doesn't sting at all, feels gorgeous going on and keeps my skin supple/soft/smooth. I've heard nothing but good things about it!

It is a beautiful day here in South Wales and this beautiful shave just added to today.

Happy weekend, chaps and chapettes.

Great picture, lovely razor and I couldn't agree more regarding the Extro bay Rum :) sun is shining in Cornwall too!

Full beard and head shave with the Ikon Tech. Finishing a head shave without serious injury with this "safety razor" (a joke among Ikon designers) is akin to surviving a hanging. Or listening to all four sides of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music. One certainly feels a mix of accomplishment, good fortune, and "what the f*$# just happened". The particular difficulty with the head shave is in maintaining the proper steep angle the Tech requires. Doing that was easier on the beard, two pass BBS, no weepers.

RazoRock Syn. 24mm
Speick Active
Hawk SE head with EJ89 Handle
Schick Proline P-20 [ 1 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse Off
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Added the EJ handle to the Razor as felt it would shave better for me with a bit more weight. Not quite to sure what to expect from it when I started, but the first few strokes were smooth and effective. In fact the Razor/Blade combo worked well for me , as I was able to shave very easily in all areas. The Shave was achieved without mishap , and the overall all round finish was more than satisfactory. Hope this Razor is not plagued by plating issues which appear to affected some of those sold.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, L'Oreal Hydra Power Face Wash and Proraso Red
Razor: Schick Adjustable (3)
Blade: Personna (#1)
Brush: Semogue 610 Boar
Soap: Tabac
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys witch hazel
AS: Tabac Lotion + Nivea Men

An absolutely fantastic shave today. This is the first time I have used the Schick Adjustable (thanks @merwtje ) and I am really impressed, I decided to stick a Personna blade in first as the razor did not have a blade fitted when I got it, so I figured if the blade ran across the stops or I messed up the first blade it was only a Personna that I was wasting, I prefer the Schick blades (Chinese and Japanese) I have tried in other razors so far. Well the blade went in OK so I thought I should at least try a shave with it, absolutely amazed with the result. I set the razor to 3 for a first outing and I have to say it did feel mild, but what a close and smooth result. I really like this razor, it has the switch to protect the blade as well so will make a great travel razor too. Will be trying this razor out on a higher setting next time, but the result set to 3 was perfect.

Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Proraso
Razor – Merkur 34C HD
Blade – Polsilver Super Iridium
Brush - 'Mama Chub' (Chubby 2 Two Band)
Soap – Wholly Kaw - Fern Concerto
Post - Cold water rinse, Chatillon Lux – Bon Vivant Post Shave Toner

Sublime... another faultless shave, this time with 'Mama' and the Kaw laying the foundations...:)

-G Lutters 5/8 RP
-Manhandled Woods 10066
-Stirling Glastonbury Soap and Splash

Stirling hit a serious home run bringing this soap back in mutton tallow. It is as slick a soap as exists.

This little razor honed up to be wicked sharp, and gave me one of the best shaves I have had since I started straight shaving. Thank you, @Blademonkey ! [emoji1]
Wow, that is looking sweet! I'm pleased you have got it into a shave ready condition and are now enjoying it. :)

Even better with a Twin, but personally then find it too clinical so my Razor does not get much love,as i prefer the PAL adjustable.
