I bought a refill puck of this soap as I had no need for another tin! It is wide so I pared it to fit in an empty Meißner jar which worked very well.
It is a dark grey and very hard.
Ì covered the soap with warm water and let my brush soak up the water. After a few swirls, the brush was loaded and I face lathered. Although I live in a hard water area, lather was made very easily, and what a lather it was! Like creamy meringue. Very nice feeling on my face and extremely protective. The razor just glides over my face. The shave was the closest I have ever had. A really wonderful soap.post shave, my face was feeling smooth as a billiard ball. Great as I have sensitive skin.
The scent was a light floral one, but I have a poor sense of smell ! This is a soap I will definitely buy again.
I have been using this for a week now and my skin is in a fantastic condition. Wonderful for sensitive skin
