The others are not kidding when they tell you that you are entering a rabbit hole.
I started with a DE89 earlier this year. So far I am up to 8 razors and 10 soaps, and > 250 blades in stock!!
I'm really enjoying my shaves with the DE89, and learnng that I am better off not trying to get too smooth while I am developing technique. A two-pass is preferable to me at the moment (with & across) and it means I can shave again a little sooner!
