Scent of The Day

Let me know what you think of Jicky please?
Heritage is pure class isn't. :)

I only applied Héritage to a tester strip so don't know how it would react with my chemistry but yes on the strip it was very nice indeed.

Jicky... A scent that literally evolves! Upon initial application it smells quite rancid, people joke about Tabac smelling of old women well Jicky is the real deal... I actually heard a few people commenting about a “bad smell” in my wake for 30 minutes after application :D But! Stick with it... after an hour it transforms into something completely different, still an old fashioned scent but very mysterious and much sweeter/more palatable to the modern nose. I got about 10 hours longevity and medium to high silage... I don't think I could justify spending that much on a smelly but if I could I would definitely have a bottle.

I quite liked the " Rancid" opening but we are all different and perhaps perceive smells differently, one I will be buying for sure again. :)
I will be seeking to try the Heritage before I buy a whole bottle but I'm lucky enough to have skin that all scents smell great on so judging by what I have heard I think I will love it :) P.

Thanks James for the informative reply. I'll definitely give try it next time I'm in Brum.

I see you aren't a fan of Habit Rouge. I've only got a sample and I wasn't mad on it to begin with but it's growing on me. It does change quite a bit and it goes through a sweet stage, which I wasn't a fan of but the dry down is good. Maybe worth trying on the skin?

I thought my choice of wording would grab your attention Paul :D I don't find it rancid myself, it's certainly an acquired smell, one for the connoisseurs among us but to the average nose (that's) perhaps more accustomed to CK or Hugo Boss it may come as a shock!

I'll give them all a fair trial Rob, next time I go into town i'll put Héritage on one wrist and Habit on the other :)
