Sampling 40 Knots by Xerjoff, that @Sid James very kindly sent to me (cheers Steve). Not at all what I was expecting, but it's definitely FB worthy.

Scent of the day for me is a little extravagant. It's not a Creed, Parfums De Marley, Xerjof or Amouage but it is a dear friend that normally is saved for special occasions only. I've had this about ten years and it is now long discontinued and very difficult to get unless you come across a fake bottle of the Bay and that'll cost about £150. YSL Pour Homme Haute Concentration. Bloody lovely.

So far so good although it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I thought there would be a big fresh pineapple opening but it's more....burnt? Or peppery? Now it's been on a while there is something in there that reminds me of Fahrenheit although not sure what it is.
