ATT SE2.
Schick Proline P-30 (1).

Cadman / finest.
Jabones by Luna "Edición Especial Foroafeitado".
Hugo Boss Bottled EdT.

This is not the right blade for this razor - the combination razor/blade is pretty aggressive ... ;)

Saturday 09 SEptember's shave.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash.
Razor - Supply SE Injector, Plate ***.
Blade - Persona PTFE Coated Injector Blade (Day 4).
Soap - OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol soap.
Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2 Best Badger.
Post shave - Cold water splash, OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol Aftershave Tonic, followed by Tabula Rasa Cool (Blue) Aftershave Gel.

I think I have got the hang of the Supply-SE - I have had 4 excellent shaves with the Supply this week, each time a 3 pass and a BBS finish :) No issues with these shaves - no irritation, cuts - a minor weeper today, that went after a cold water splash.

Looking forward to Sunday's shave - my first with a Blackland Sabre, which arrived today :)

Saturday 9th SEptember

Birch Tar Soap
3P Peshave cream
Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap
Focus Dynamic SE
Semogue 1800 Boar
Witch Hazel
Groomed Moisturiser
Brut Musk AS

Incredibly busy day today....literally up and out. No shave until I returned this evening...so it's maintenance only and no Photo. I want to have a nice Sunday Shave tomorrow. Two quick passes for what turned out to be a DFS:)

I find the Focus seems to have a nice habit of doing that, 2 passes and done.

Saturday 9th SEptember 2017

sotd 9th sept.JPG
Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash
Razor: Rolls Razor + Razorock Hawk v1
Blade: A not very well sharpened Rolls blade + Schick Proline (#1)
Brush: Maseto 30mm 2 band finest
Soap: Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Magnum
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Old Spice + Alcolado Glacial

Ok first shave with the Rolls Razor and I clearly did not sharpen the blade well enough, after 3 passes I gave up and grabbed the Hawk that was on hand. The Hawk with the Proline saved the day with a quick 4th pass cleaning up nicely.

I am pretty sure that a properly sharpened Rolls blade should be a lot sharper than my effort, the shave was quite rough at times and it really did not feel sharp at all. The Hawk with the Proline blade in comparison felt incredibly smooth almost as if there was no blade. The end result was great, so clearly the Rolls blade was mowing down some of the stubble, just not very comfortably or efficiently. I think I need to have another go at sharpening the blade again.

On the plus side at least I survived my first Rolls shave without drawing blood, and although my face felt a bit sore post shave it did not last long, and I actually achieved a very close shave in the end.

Razor....Schick E2 1935-1945
Blade....Schick Proline B-20s
Soap....Speick Stick (Tallow )
Brush....Unbranded Boar circa 1950

A beast of a razor if you take your eye off the ball, I took my eye off the ball and it bit me but my dog has given me worse bites so not too bad. A close shave, a little too close in parts but it left me clean shaven and once I had put on my BBA Post Shave Balm my skin calmed down and felt better.

Tomorrow, another day and another razor........:)

Sunday 10th SEptember

Groomed Facial Scrub
3P Preshave Cream
Fitjar Slatteroy Cream
Little Wren Bowl
Masteo Barber Brush 26mm in Finest
ES ClaymoreV2 on a Windrose Damascus Steel Handle
Proline -P Blade
Alum Block and Rinse
Kiehl's Ultimate ASB
Krampert's Arcadian Spice Bay Rum

Not a lot to shave off after yesterday evening....but everything has most definately gone. 2 passes for a BBS shave :)

Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!
