    Pre: Warm water face wash

    Soap: Speick Stick
    Razor: ER Streamline
    Blade: Gem Blue Star
Post: Warm then cold water, Homemade Skinfood

Feeling under the weather today (man flu), and couldn't face a cold water shave. An efficient one pass shave didn't make me feel any better, but I feel clean.
Dropped this brush and noticed a bit of shedding today, hopefully it's only temporary.

    12 SEptember 2017 - third run out with the Blackland Sabre-SE :)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash, followed by Proraso (Green) Pre-shave Cream.
    Razor - Blackland Sabre-SE.
Blade - GEM PTFE (Day 3).
Soap - Proraso Green Shaving Soap.
    Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2 Best Badger.
Post shave - Proraso (Green) Aftershave Splash, followed by Proraso (Green) After Shave Balm.

Decided to go green today with a full Proraso flush. Not sure that I did differently today, noticed more audible feedback from the Sabre-SE, which added to the experience.

In terms of SE razors, having used the:
    • OneBlade
    • ATT SE1
    • Rocnel-SE GEM
    • Supply-SE and
    • Sabre-SE
this year it is hard to separate these, all offer something special. My only negative is that the GEM blade needs to be filed down a little to remove the corners before use with the Rocnel, however, once that is done, an excellent shave awaits.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: Razorock Hawk v1 with ManlyStuff.ie handle
    Blade: Schick Proline (#2)
    Brush: Vulfix 404
    Soap: D.R. Harris Windsor
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
    AS: Nivea Soothing Balm

Not shaved since Saturday due to a bout of man flu, last shave I only used the Hawk for the last pass so I was looking forward to today as the Hawk with the Schick Proline was excellent last time. Today was superb, I think this is now one of my favourite razor/blade combinations along with the Schick Adjustable with a twin blade. Today was 2 passes of very smooth shaving, I did manage 1 tiny nick, but that was due to me hurrying towards the end of the shave, and it stopped after a bit of an alum rub and some cold water.

    Razor....Cobra Classic ( on loan from @culcreuch )
    Blade...Schick Proline P-20s
    Soap....Monsavon ( improved version )
    Brush....BSSW ~ Gonzo
    Scuttle....Giles Shaving Co

Another perfect shave from the Cobra, I am truly amazed at what a great shave this razor gives me, I had heard that it was quite aggressive and that you had to be careful or mabe it's the Proline blade that has tamed the beast! I will find out in the coming days when I start to use different blades in with it but today perfect BBS finnish with zero irritation , no post shave needed because my new improved Monsavon left me with skin that felt soft and supple post shave.

Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday whatever you are doing......:)

It was the Proline blade which did it for me. The Feathers require 'respect' !

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso Green
Razor: iKon El Jefe + SE Handle
    Blade: Kai Luffy (#2)
    Brush: Plisson Pure Badger
    Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington stick
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
    AS: Lab Series Balm

Not sure what happened to the blade in the iKon El Jefe, I had loaded the blade a while ago and the razor was stored in a thick leather pouch. During the first stroke I felt a scratch on my skin at one end of the razor, no blood drawn or any noticable marks, I tried another stroke and it was the same. I gently touched the end of the blade where I could feel the scratch, and I could feel the blade had been damaged somehow. I popped the head open and felt the blade gently and it seemed the guard was damaged and a small part was sticking up. I popped the blade back in the other way up and tightened the head, not easy to with wet hands and had to repeat as I had the loose blade syndrome on my first go. With the razor all back together there was no sharp bit now so I proceeded to shave again.

End result was an excellent shave, I took 3 passes but the result was excellent. The Kai luffy blade has now been binned.

(Also Space 1999 day - when the moon got blasted out of earth orbit, September 13th - I wonder how Moonbase alpha kept stocked up with blades and soap?)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash, followed by Myrsol pre/post Shave Emulsion.
    Razor - Blackland Sabre-SE.
Blade - GEM PTFE (Day 4).
Soap - Executive Shaving Natural Shave Cream.
    Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2 Best Badger.
Post shave - Myrsol "Lemon" Post Shave Splash.

Amazing shave today - the Sabre-SE is a joy to shave with, easy to find and maintain the shave angle. I appreciate that YMMV.

    All the best,

    Chris

    Soap....SV ~ Felce Aromatica
    Brush....Razorock Silvertip Synthetic
    Post....BBA Post Shave Balm

Another Stella shave from the Cobra paired with the Proline, can it get better than this? I don't know but the shaves I'm getting from this combo are nothing short of fantastic . Alas this is not my razor, it is one that has been kindly loaned to me so I can feel a purchase coming on in the very near future, I never mind getting enabled when the product is as good as this! BBS with zero irritation again, perfect!
Tomorrow will be my fourth shave with this razor and I'm looking forward to it! :)

Have a great day people, whatever you are doing but let's be careful out there! :)
