No 2 was at first very hard for me to overcome.

  5. Maybe number seven was a problem in the past but I think I have a grip on that now! Otherwise a clean slate :) P.

I'm often guilty of number five but as I moisturise daily I don't see it as a problem.

  8. No.7 to some extent. Until I recently forked out on a decent and lovely shiny razor I think I was kidding myself on what a great shave really felt like. And now? I need another decent and lovely shiny razor.

I have hundreds of razors, I opened a box expecting to find a brush and found a RR Hawk. I have no recollection of buying it.

1 is BS for the most part. 6 isn't really a "thing" either. Wet your face and shave with whatever you have and you will be fine.

It's more pleasurable to have better soap/cream and it smells better but your shave will be fine with whatever you use. Regarding prep...it's not necessary. Do it if you want to but it's not necessary.
