Shave of the day Saturday 12th August- Fri 18th August 2017

Using a Super Pro??. You certainly went for Gold!!!

Yeah - I know mate. They were the only compatible blades I had in stock. They are my first choice for the Cobra. I suspect strongly the Feather AC razor will appear on a WTT thread soon. Little used, boxed and with the original instructions. Which I wonder, might say in Japanese if I could translate it - don't put this near your face unless you know what you are doing. Which I don't. Just to fly a kite - if anybody has a SE or something else they want to move on? - cheers - I.

To day I decided to get better acquainted with my Valet Auto Strop Razor, I like the idea of a razor that alows you to take care of its own blade......how well this works time will tell but armed with a NOS strop rather than the old one that had seen better days it may stand a better chance now.
The MWF was easily whipped into a fabulous lather with my Semouge 2000 in my Little Wren bowl in no time at all, with the blade freshly stropped I set to......using one of the good condition Valet blades that was sold to me with the razor.
Only my second use of this little marvel of engineering and I enjoyed the experience , it delt with my stubble in a most efficant maner and left me smooth skinned and again with zero irritation, just what I require from my morning shave.
I did not feel the need to use my BBA PS balm just a light application of @Boru62 skin food balm thingy ( that's what is writen on the label )
Very good it is too. Thanks mate.
For my scent today I will be using Molecule 01 ISO Super, I like it a lot ,on my third bottle now! :)

Whishing you all a pleasant day..........:)

Keep at it Iain, the blade was a little ambitious for someone who hasn't mastered the razor ,I have your addresss I will send up a couple of less aggerssive skin friendly Schick Prolines to have a go with, they are fantastic razors once you have shown it who is Boss! :) P.

Second shave with the Wickham 1912 Irish Fern. It is a pleasure facelathering this shaving soap and smelling its fragrant scent. This soap makes a very nice slick lather. The Merkur 37C in combination with the Gillette Nacet Stainless gave a smooth and irritation free BBS in three passes. A generous splash of Pitralon classic finished this enjoyable shave.

This Tuesday`s morning shave was accompanied by the Prague Philharmonic Orchester playing some Hans Zimmer classics.

Greetings,

Today's shave i've carried on using another shave stick after my previous shave was such a good one.

The Palmolive shave Stick is something i'll always have in my shaving den, purely because it never fails to

to provide me with such a an amazing slick protective lather for a ridiculous small price.

My 65R/Voskhod Teflon Coated duo worked together, mild smooth but very efficient.

A wonderful 3 pass + pick ups non silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave of with generous splash of Brut Attraction Totale. aftershave splash, my Favourite of all the Brut aftershave splash range .

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Tuesday 15th August 2017
Prep: Shower
Razor: GEM Pushbutton
Blade: ER Corrux NOS (8)
Brush: Plisson Synthetic
Cream: Gentleman's Face Care Club
Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft)
EDP: Miller Harris Le Cedre

Having been away and shaved all weekend with the OCMM it's back to the Corrux blade and 10 laps on a feox pasted strop and 20 on plain leather. A great shave.

When Steve Bowles described this shaving cream as the very best, I do believe he was quite right, I too think this is probably the best shaving cream I have ever used.

Regards
Dick.
