Shave of the day Saturday 12th August- Fri 18th August 2017

First shave with an OSP soap, super smooth finish, great post shave feel, scent was ok, my first Barbershop. The General on top form as usual.

Quite telling I reached for the No10 today for a shave I wanted max protection for.

Although I found the shave a little meh, 3 passes which didn't feel like they were doing much although it has done something. My neck is quite rough with spots and a weeper along the base of my neck. Feel quite uncomfortable now which I imagine is going to increase as the day goes on.

Sounds like you haven't found the right angle....what plate were you using?
 
Wednesday's shave :)

Pre-shave - Shower and face wash with Wright's Cold Tar Soap, followed by Warm water and Village Barbour Pre-shave Oil.
Razor - ATT M1 (Atlas)
Blade - Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Soap - OSP Sicilian Lemon Grove Shaving Cream.
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2 Best Badger.
Bowl - Little Wren Pottery shave bowl.
Post shave - OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol Aftershave Tonic, followed by Ibiza-Aloe Aloe Vera Gel.

Another great shave this morning - 3 passes: WTG; ATG and XTG. One minor weeper, which sorted itself out before I finished the shave.

Very happy with the result, skin still feels relatively smooth, 11 hours after shaving.

Its been a while since I have used my Feather AS-D2 - thinking about getting that out for the next shave.

Oh....and if you have been used to carts.....pressure is probably an issue as well!
