I'm with @Digimonkey on this one. You only have to look at that tree, to see that it's obviously the creation of a deranged mind.
The picture lifted from the pages of some gaudy graphic novel.
I'm off to the Dragon Conservation Park in Wales tomorrow, begone with your phantasmagorical tales of mythological trees.

  2. image.jpg ~SOTD-~ 13th August Sunday

Early morning shave using my ER 1914 fitted out with a NOS ER Corrux blade freshly stropped. My soap for the shave was Pre de Provence which was whipped to perfection by the uber soft Razorock silvertip Synthetic in my Little Wren lathering bowl.
This shave was sublime, so smooth, so enjoyable and I was left buttery smooth with zero irritation, just perfect, exactly what I needed for my special Sunday shave, I am loving this 1914 with this blade, it is near perfection .
I finnished off with a splash of Boru62 skin food, wonderful stuff.
My scent for today will be the Tom Ford Black Orchid, one of Mr Perfume's oils. Divine.

Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable Sunday.........:)

After yesterday's phenomenal BBS shave with the Ming shi 2000S..i've used my Wilkinson sword Classic, which gave me a nice relaxing 3 pass + pick ups mild but efficient smooth shave with no errors

The Wilkinson sword Classic is such a mild razor, but i always get great pleasure with everytime i shave with it,today's performance was no exception.

The Arko Shave Stick is a excellent performer providing me a superb thick slick lather for the shave.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Old Spice Classic Aftershave.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling wonderful.;)

    Enjoy your sunday,ladies & gentlemen.

Many thanks to @Paul L for the wonderful Spitfire and the equally wonderful Wilkie blade.
I spent quite a bit of the wtg xtg two pass shave, wondering what the scent of this slick soap reminded me of. Meanwhile the razor and blade combo dealt effortlessly with +one days growth.
Conclusion, I think it's Dentyne chewing gum.

Second but last shave with the Star Kampfe Bros. Lather Catcher. Too aggressive for my skin for an every day use. No visible injuries and my skin turned not red. I have a true BBS after two passes but although handling the razor with no pressure I feel some itching on my beard areas after the shave. A sure sign that my skin got some micro injuries. The Wickham´s Irish Fern did a great job. Nice rich, slick and creamy lather and I like the scent very much, too. It is not a real Fougere scent but it fits perfect with the scent of my Pitralon Classic aftershave.

This Sunday`s late morning shave was accompanied by some early Roxy Music songs.

Wishing you all a relaxing Sunday and enjoyable shaves.
