Shaving cream: Ach Brito Lavanda.
Razor: Claymore V2 / Rocnel handle.
Blade: Kai Titan Mild (2).
After shave: Ach Brito Lavanda EdC.

Prep: Hot shower L'oreal face wash and Saponificio Varesino Manna di Sicilia bath soap
Razor: ATT S2 Kronos handle
Razor blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum
Brush: Maseto 24mm extra dense Finest 'Spectrum'
Cream: Alvarez & Gomez Barberia (sample)
Post: Thayers witch hazel, Myrsol Emulsion and Mancera Cedrat Boise EDP

Thanks to Iain AKA @Digimonkey for the second sample. I liked it, good performance and nice light scent, very close to Extro Bergamotto di Calabria.

First outing of the Maseto brush. Verdict?
Very, very good. No issues with the knot eating the lather, good flow through from the outset. Soft tips and good backbone. Love the handle too.
There is nothing about this brush which leads you to believe how inexpensive it is.
This is the best bang per buck product I've bought since the Fatip piccolo.

I'm tempted to order now but I'm off on holiday a week today so I'll wait till I get back.
I might put one of my 30mm Maseto's up for sale on the BST.
RE the hangover, self inflicted mate :confused::p:)

Soap: Cyril R Salter Rose
Brush: Maseto 30mm Silvertip
Razor: Asylum Evolution (Lending Pool)
Blade: Astra SP #2
Aftershave Balm. BBA
EDT: Black Tie

This soap created a lovely lather, slick, smooth and plenty of cushion. The scent reminds me of Turkish delights :)
The Maseto silvertip for face lathering was faultless. Silky smooth and still plenty of backbone it whipped up enough lather for at least 5 passes.
This is only my second shave with the Asylum so before I give any real conclusion I would like to give it another 4 or 5 goes. All I can say at the moment is I did have a nice BBS 3 pass shave with it but I have some irritation around my neck.
The Razor is well machined and well balanced although I am perhaps finding it a little small in my chubby hands.
BBA balm as always was sublime and the Black Tie sample leaves a lovely rose and sandalwood hit.

All in all a lovely fresh shave with no cuts or weepers.
Ready for lunch out with my parents and family as it is my Mothers birthday. 75 years young today :)

This is a really heavy piece, probably the most from my non-stainless collection! I had really pleasant shaves with it, but curiously slightly better with comb N.5 than with N.4... I also tested Maggards 22mm. synthetic brush, more firm than my Plisson Loccitane, still a lather machine!
