Razor: Rocca
Razor blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum (2)
Brush: Romera Manchurian
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Soap; Wickhams Irish Fern
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Fine American Blend

The return of the Mack, sorry The Rocca. I'd taken the advice on board on how to improve the shave.
Changed my grip and held it closer to the head. Tried holding the handle at a steeper angle. Tried the Super Platinum blade in the S2 yesterday and wasn't sure about it. Smooth but not as sharp as I'd like. Tried it in the Rocca tonight and it wasn't as smooth and not that efficient either. Mmm....

The Wickhams and the Romera brush were a great combination, creating copious amounts of lather.
I was in the middle of lathering my face with lather flying all over the place, saying to myself "bloody hell there's copious amounts of lather here" when I promptly dropped the bastard in the sink!

Thank you and goodnight.

Have you tried any of the Balms?

I seem to follow the advice printed on the back of êShave shaving soap boxes.

So tonight I washed my face using Waitrose glycerine soap. This was a hint posted on the Sharpologist some time ago that I have been meaning to try. I use to exfoliate but Boots have discontinued my preferred facial scrub from their Botanics range. I showered using Savon de Marseille liquide.

I use a pre shave oil. I make my own, the current version is grapeseed oil with grapefruit EO. I then used a Plissoft to face lather êShave lavender shaving soap. My first pass is with an injector. I haven't shaved since Wednesday evening, the injector cuts the stubble very easily. My next passes are with a Balea Flex Pro with a Quattro Titanium cart. I then rinsed, slid an alum bar across and then rinsed again . I actually used to leave it on, no idea whether it makes any difference. I then applied Speick AS. It seems to have the best performance. I then applied some Aqua Velva ten minutes later as I like the face feel and scent. I then sprayed my body in an Eau de Cologne, currently Berdoues Verbena and Yuzu.
