Pre shave: Bulldog original face scrub

It's the first time in a while that I've grabbed the MDC.

I'm still trying to dial it in, I tried loading less soap to try and get it more slick. I love the fragrance, but I find the soap quite drying and lacking in slickness. So the jury is still out. But I did get a nice and close shave.

I'll probably use the soap for the next few weeks to try and figure it out.

I'm still loving the SV brush.

Semogue 2000
Gibbs No 16
Supermax Super Platinum (2)
Pannacrema Nuavia Verde
Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel, Talc & Al Rehab Sultan

A bit of an experiment today with the post shave, I have been using talc after showering and thought on a whim I'd try it as a post shave on my face. No harm at all, not feeling clammy or blocked. Everything feels smooth and soft, very nice i fact. Tiny squirt of fragrance on my pulse points and bobs your uncle.

Semogue 2000 is a cracking brush, expected it to be bigger in truth (that's what she said), made for a great lather with the Pannacrema. One small cut, user error.
Great soap you have there:)

How do you like the Gibbs?

It's a great shaver, I own this one and an adjustable Gibbs No 17. The shave on this is supposed to be milder one side but using each side on half my face I don't get any noticable difference. Equally comfortable and smooth. They are well built razors and under-appreciated in my opinion. Better shaves than many a Gillette.

You could always try adding a few drop of Glycerine to the lather..not that you should have to with a quality soap..
