Shaving paste

Caunaught sell Meißen shaving pastes in a wonderful variety of 'flavours '! Anyone tried them ? Why are they called a paste?

Meissner Tremonia products are excellent. I gather that the 'paste' description is from the texture which is a bit thicker than a cream and very slightly granular.

I have their Wild Oranges shaving paste, I wouldn't call it a cream as such, lacks the creamy nature I would associate with a cream. The texture is a bit like a mousse in my opinion, very similar to another German cream/soap Tabula Rasa. Perfroms excellently, the scents are very interesting on paper. The one I have a is a lovely earthy orange. It comes in a very nice, sturdy glass jar. If I were to buy another I'd give their Pots of Milk a try.

Very nice indeed - I would recommend lavender deluxe, dark limes, and both menthol offerings, as well as Indian flavour

I have now read glowing review on another site ,. Why isn't this cream more well known?
