It has been sprayed, my dad works in a car garage and I was curious if he could get it sprayed. Came out very nice, at the time the garage was doing a respray of aRange Rover so its sprayed in Firenze Red and Santorini Black. It should last well I imagine, like the paint does on the cars.
I don't use it often though, not a lover of the Tech
