Show us your boars!

A few of mine from SOTD..I am really a badger guy but a good boar can be worth it's weight in gold.

1. Omega 98

@Shaverrific666 Which one is your favourite?

Hello Rob! Fancy seeing you here:) As you know I am a badger guy.. but my favourite of the boars mentioned is probably the Zenith.. as it is as good as the SOC but took less time to break in, and the handle is really nice and it took a while to get hold of.
The Omega 98 is an amazing brush..just a tad big for me (as it's a barber's brush really) but for value and quality of knot it's a steal..very soft and kills soaps. Got it in Italy (in a drugstore) for about 7 Euros.

My 820 came in this mornings post, knot is surprisingly soft out of the box (compared to the only other boar I've tried, a MÜHLE HJM) its taking a bath now :)

...Only minor annoyance is the label hadn't been applied very well so it was all crinkled up out of the box, I expect it will fall off within a couple of uses.

Hi Chris,
I've been lurking on this thread for a little while.;)Thanks for your response.

I was tempted by the Zenith brushes but (after being enabled by this thread) I've bought a Semogue 620.

I did have a 830 but sold it as it was a tad too floppy for me.

On the ' controversial' subject dyed or natural hair. I prefer the look of the dyed hair.

Nice Rob! They're good brushes, no doubt..it's just a personal thing for me..as I just prefer the aesthetic of an natural looking boar knot. I had the 610 (which is very similar to the 620, though not the same hair grade) and that was a great face lathering brush..I'm sure you'll get on well with the 620..just be patient as they can take a bit of time to break in but are ultimately worth it! Enjoy pal!;)
