Yes that's whats happend, I emailed them a couple of days ago regarding a custom handled boar brush and they said then that they were putting an order through to Zennith. It a bit naughty to be selling stock they don't have yet but I suppose that kind of thing goes on all the time! :)

...I suspected this maybe the case but there seems to be a consensus that they do deliver. What did you go for?

The B03-A26 but that was last year, the custom brush I asked about was using the same knot as the A26 but in that rarther nice blue handle but as yet they have not got back to me with a price, I think they have to ask Zennith how much it's going to cost if it can be done.

I asked for a custom Zenith from this vendor as well. I emailed them in March, and got some pictures of the finished brush in May. But since then, I'm sending occasional requests for status updates every week or two, and get either no answer or something along the lines of "I will post it soon". The last update I got (a week ago) mentioned a family health problem as reason for the delay.

I've previously ordered a brush from them that was in stock and got it carefully packaged within two weeks or so.
 
No issues at all, it's not a solid aluminium handle but a thick jacket over a plastic core, it's got some weight to it but not as heavy as it would have been if solid but it feels solid enough and should be fine unless dropped on a hard surface. When I asked TVB shaving they said it was solid alu but I don't think they know what they are selling or they were just telling porkies! You can tell though just through the weight of it and tapping the bottom that it is a hollow or cored handle. Don't expect the logo to stay on long , mine rubbed off quickly but it no big thing. For the money it's a very good brush.
