Sky friend's and family code

I have 7 friends and family offer codes for sky tv new customers £35 if any one wants one.
 
box sets sports and cinema for 18 months it is. There's offers on broad band but there separate.
 
Explain to me something please: in the UK a customer cannot "cherry pick" cafeteria style the channels they wish to receive, but rather must buy a package filled with crap channels that no one wants?
 
Boge ........ Exactly that, mate ....... Which is why people are paying £60 - £80 a month for full packages, just to get all the channels they want.

Unless, of course, they "Know a bloke down the pub ......."

Over here in the States it's a Federal law to offer packages which is clearly insane. However, it's a highly politically charged topic with one side wanting a free market & the other wanting Leftist propaganda paid for with your package fees. :rolleyes:

However, as you stated many people here as well are doing an "end run" around that via Amazon Firesticks, etc., and perhaps even more with pirate ones.
