So much for saving money..3 months into this addiction..

I only have one face! 1 conventional DE, 2 slants, 1 open comb, 2 SE, and a straight. For one face!
To be honest my razor buying has slowed almost to a stop now and it was the purchase of my Supply SE that done it for me, just about killed my RAD although I did have to buy a Schick adjustable after your pass-around and I had to buy a Pal Adjustble when one came up on BST....well I had to! I have been selling a few razors that have been gathering dust so I'm keeping my razor collection in check, now I have to get a grip on my buying of blades and soap!

Soap is easy to control. Personally I find soaps to be very much over hyped. Most new soaps don't do anything better than what I already own. Scents are mostly meh to be honest.

That's easy for you to say.....I love OSP and have just about every flavour, I have a stash of Old Spice (shulton) because it's fantastic , tabac and Figaro (tallow) are also fab along with my MWF, now I've found the Fine range of soaps, oh almost forgot there's a couple of tubs of Wickhams as well. I'm sure there is more that I haven't mentioned .
No need to tell me, I know I have a problem! :)

Ooo you may be the man. I have a wrapped unopened puck of Razor Master Markuu soap and it's whiskey scented. If you're interested?

Hi there :)

I decided to start wet shaving with the good intention to 'save money' (we all know how that goes!).

Little did I know when I placed my first order (TOBS sandalwood / omega 49 / merkur 34c with feather blades), that I would fall down the rabbit hole that is wet shaving!

I used to hate shaving, but I now find it a relaxing part of my day; shaving whilst listening to a podcast and taking my time and enjoying the process. Usually I shave in the evening and it allows me to unwind.

Here is what I have procured so far;

I've really enjoyed nearly everything, the standouts for me are MWF + XPEC for the performance (I'm a sucker for the post shave feeling they give), the Merkur 39c slant and the Omega pro 49 boar brush.

My only real disappointment was Arko, it was just too drying for my skin. And now I mostly use the Arko shave stick to break in new boar brushes.

I'm limiting myself on purchases going forward (at least I will try!). But there are a few things I would like including; the rockwell 6s, a plissoft style brush, and perhaps some MDC, Pannacrema nuavia, Castle Forbes, or St James of London creams. I think I might try some samples to avoid the temptation to hoard full sized products. Eventually I would to figure out what works best for me and narrow down the collection to a handful of products.

The forum has been a wealth of information so far and I'm looking forward to contributing, thanks for having me!

Awesome collection! I especially love the black razor, what make is it?

Sat here chuckling to myself, I now realise I really am not alone!
The old saying "he who does with the most toys wins" is a truism.:)
Top post by the way, but I think your not telling us the whole story! Where's the fifty different types of blades? You've been rumbled,we know you have them!

I only have 11 types of blades..so far..

Funnily enough, I remember researching blades before placing my first order. I ended up buying 30 feather blades, thinking sharpest blades would be best.

After using a feather in the R41, and cutting myself to shreds , I decided that it maybe wise to explore some new razor blade options.

Currently I'm enjoying perma sharps
