Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Hot shower:/ Wrights Cold Tar Soap Body Wash & Vosene Shampoo .

Pre:

Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword.

Face Lather.

Soap : Arko Shave Stick .

Blade:Treet Carbon . (2)

Razor: Parker 99R .

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Cold Water Face Rinse/Aloe Vera Gel.

Old Spice~ Classic Aftershave.

The Parker 99R/Treet Carbon blade was a superb indian made duo,
resulting in a effortless 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.

My face was feeling super smooth after the 2nd pass to be honest,and have a finished my shave with pick ups pass, but i carried on purely for the sheer pleasure, and to use up the wonderful lather the Arko stick had created upon my face.

Finishing the shave off with a very generous splash of Old Spice Classic aftershave.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)

They quite suprised me, to be honest i was put off using th Carbon blades in the beginning after reading some biased opinion on them, and stuck to using Stainless steel or platinum..A great combo with my 99R today,i'll have to give the dura sharp a try in the future.

Off work today so it was time for the relaxing shave I didn't have time for yesterday. This was the first use for the Gotta, which is just back from being honed by @Fergiebilly . A wonderful job was done and the razor gave a fantastic BBS shave with 3 passes.
With my newfound seniority...I am now off to sort out my bus pass!

Thursday shave.

One growth and warm shave

Preparation – showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: OSP – Grapefruit & Menthol (thanks @Agent Shave)
Razor: Rockwell 6C (3P)
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (3rd)
Brush: Razorock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, then Nivea 2 Phase, Michael Kors EDT and to conclude Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm.

New soap today – OSP Grapefruit & Menthol. Thoughts – I was a bit disappointed with the lack of scent however, slickness, cushion and post shave feel were excellent. This was also my first menthol soap and found it quite cooling. How does this soap's cooling rate to other menthol soaps?

Overall had a good shave this morning – not sure my skin likes the Wilkinson sword blade – looking forward to changing this as again, even though on a milder plate still had a few weepers (same places as yesterday)

Thursday's shave :)

A great shave today - the shaving gods aligned beautifully.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Prorasso (Green) Pre-shave Cream.
Razor - ATT Bamboo SE Aluminum.
Blade - Kai Captain Titan Mild (Day 6)
Soap - Cella.
Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic Badger.
Post shave - OSP Eucalyptus and Menthol splash.

I was in a hurry this morning, and opted for the ATT SE Aluminum, which was loaded and ready to go. The wide head and the ease in finding the shave angle (I appreciate that YMMV), makes this a go to razor for me, when time is short. I feel that with this razor I can quickly shave, albeit I'm still careful and respectful of the fact I have a sharp cutting tool in my hand. I find the ATT SE Aluminum, as well as the ATT SE, very efficient, it wipes out all stubble in its path.

The Cella, as ever, lathered up quickly and beautifully, great protection, glide, scent and feel. What's not to like.

A 2 pass shave with no issues and BBS finish, after a slight touch-up on the chin.

While I enjoyed the shave, I did miss some of the relaxed ceremony this morning, if that makes sense.
