Love everything about this line-up!

Sun 13th May

Stirling Syn. 24mm
Stirling Baker Street
ATT SE1
Schick Proline [ 4 ]
Tuff Green A/S Lotion

After a few days on Injectors decided to go modern with the ATT SE1. I just love the way the the broad head shears away with ease any growth in areas like the cheeks. I am really comfortable with these comparative heavy weights of the Shaving world, and to be truthful now find that I am far less happy using a DE as I am more prone to making errors with them.
Feeling a bit under par this morning, as I seem in my twilight years to have developed an allergy to pollen. A nice leisurely Shave worked wonders especially as it yielded without problems a nice close all round finish.

Morning shave

Olive Oil Soap
Vreto Mystic Woods
Thater 4125/2
Schick Krona
Feather (1)
Thayers Witch Hazel (cucumber)
Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave Lotion
Creed Green Irish Tweed EDP (sample)

My very own Krona thanks to a lovely Norwegian gentleman some of you will know from the other forum. Paired with a Feather blade it gives a fantastic shave. So comfortable in use but wonderfully efficient. The Vreto soap is a marvel. It loves water but when you finally hit that sweet spot it becomes a thing of beauty. I honestly don't think that I have used a better soap. Finally a big thank you to @Benz3ne for the GIT sample. Ben is so generous with his samples. I sent him a pm asking for his thoughts on a fragrance I had noticed he used occasionally and within the week I had half a dozen generously sized samples of various fragrances. You're a credit to the forum mate. The GIT is going on my birthday wish list. Good luck with that one eh? Enjoy your Sunday chaps.

You should definitely look into Emerald Isle from Parfums Vintage Barry. I've heard it's a really good alternative to GIT.

Greetings,

A relaxing sunday morning 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The W.S. classic razor/ Gillette w.s. saloon pack blade matched up very nicely..smooth & sharp making the shave a pleasurable experience....I can't praise the G.W.S. Saloon pack blades enough at the moment, i'm getting a dfs with them in every razor i've paired them up with..superb!

Every traditional wet shaver should at least try shaving with a W.S. Classic razor as it's a great razor despite been very non-aggressive, paired together with an assertive blade, like today made it smooth sharp & efficient,it's probably one of my favourite razors for my pick up passes, with it been mild i can go over sensitive areas more without any cause for nicks or irritation to my rhino skin, but i suppose certain brand snobs shy away from them due to them been virtually made out of plastic ,and it's inexpensive price..Oh well ,it's to their loss...

Finishing the shave off wonderfully, with a generous splash of Old Spice ~ Swagger a/s lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

Completely agree on the WS @Palmolive fox . It's one of my go-to travel razors.

Sunday 13th May 2018
Prep: Shower
Razor: Unnamed French
Blade: Henckels Rapide
Brush: Plisson Synthetic
Soap: Leftovers Mixture
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDP: Penhaligon's Artemisia

This edp is very nice, a little on the feminine side which does not concern me one jot and I personally think it has a sweet gourmand vibe to it although there is no fudge/chocolate etc in it, I have little doubt this is due to the large amount of vanilla which gives it a scent of real homemade custard (the sort I have messed up every time I have tried to make it)

I suspect it will have good to very good longevity and the sillage seems pretty good. I note that Penhaligon's lists it as a female fragrance but it is certainly wearable by men and well worth a try if you like sweet vanilla notes. Not really a day fragrance, more for evenings.

Regards
Dick.

Nothing wrong with the Willkie Classic or with using razors primarily made from plastic, I often use a Bic Metal SE and get a cracking shave from it, so be it a Willkie, Bic or a more expensive razor as long as it gets the job done that's all that matters.
I don't personally think that someone who doesn't use Willkie's, Bic's or Carts are brand snobs, it's all about personal choice and what a sad world it would be if we didn't have personal choice but I respect your opinion because as well as personal choice we also have the right to hold personal opinions. Shave happy :) P.

Sunday

TOBS Cedarwood Cream
RazoRock Disrupter 22mm
Face lather
Gillette SuperSpeed 1951
Sputnik Teflon Coated #2
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Floïd Mentally Vigorous

Nice Sunday shave today. The SuperSpeed was my first TTO; and it's a nice smooth number. A couple of swirls of the damp brush in the TOBS tub produced enough lather for about five passes, after a luxurious face lather. A splash of the bracing MV and all's well.

I don't use creams as much as my soaps, but the Cedarwood is a really good one; with a lovely scent. It's down a notch from the Sandalwood; which some find a bit too strong.

Now the gym beckons...
