This was my first time using a Lord Tech
I knew it was a mild shaver, but not quite so.
I was literally scraping my face and still it didn't bite.
Even so, after three passes I am left pretty smooth, but not BBS.
I don't think I'll be using this razor again as it's too mild for me.
This little YaqI synthetic is proving to be a good purchase. It loads and lathers like a champ. Although I find it likes a little extra dampness before loading.
A double dose of Myrsol LImon and several sprays of Dunhill Fresh to finish and I smell bloody gorgeous !

P. - I was worried about the customs thing too - to a UK address - when I ordered two brushes from Yaqi via AliExpress for the first time recently. Both my brushes - including the Moka - turned up in short order showing a UK origin - and a domestic return address - so no hassle. This is despite the fact that I got an email during the process from AliExpress saying 'your order has now arrived from China,' - or words to that effect. Tracked but not signed for in the Royal Mail system. No problems. I have no idea whether this is always the case? Yours - I.

That's good to know. Yaqi is becoming quite expensive as prices and delivery charges are increasing almost every time I check their site. I really fancy the Moka in finest!

No problem B. - as per your advise - I'd go for it - as soon as! It's only going to get more expensive? As others have said it is a bit of an odd looking thing out the box - it is much bigger than the photos posted on the seller's website might suggest - there is no scale in the picture. The handle is big and angular - but I have hands like shovels - so find it ergonomically very comfortable to use. The translucent resin of the rod stock throws the light nicely. It's the hair in the Moka that really intrigues me - it's finest, two band - as I have said before - it reminds me strongly of the knot in my Stirling two-band fan. When it is dry - almost a bit spikey and scritchy - but with repeated use - the Stirling - it ended up as the best gel-tips I own. Worth a punt at the money I thought - yours - I.
