Greetings,

Another early morning start for me,last saturday that i have to work for a while..:)

A new shave set up to start the weekend, it's a welcoming return of my parker 87r razor after been out on loan for over a year..this indian princess is the smallest of all my parker razors, but it's still got a good heft & balance to it and performs with non-aggressive, but efficient smoothness, like all of my parker razor i use a slightly steeper shaving angle that gives a dfs..

I mentioned i was going to match her up with the gillette ws saloon pack blade, as they pair excellently with my 3 piece parker's the verdict is still the same..a superb match, smooth sharp and efficient.

My little indian lady has been too long in shaving exile..welcome back home princess...

Second outing of the Nivea men shave stick and it provided me with a nice slick protective lather fo shave, i was tempted to cut a disc off the stick and use my usual bowl lather method, but i applied the stick dry to my wet face the result was a superb performance, just like the Nivea men shaving creams give, adding a nice post shave feeling to my face.

A very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of arko ~ cool cologne.

My face is feeling cool, super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy the start of the weekend, ladies & gentlemen.

Prep: Shower
Razor: L'Essor
Blade: Heljestrand
Brush: APShave Co. SynBad
Soap: Tabac
Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft)
EDC: Penhaligon's Endymion

Another shave with the SynBad brush and this morning I tested it against the Tuxedo knot from the same supplier by using both brushes for the same shave. There is no question that the SynBad knot splays easier than the Tuxedo but less so than the Cashmere knot which I also have from APShave Co. To be quite fair this is precisely what the supplier states on his website!

This morning I am trying Penhaligon's Endymion, another EDC, I find it a pleasant 'ordinary' EDC, I only applied it about 45 minutes ago and it is already fading very rapidly.

Regards
Dick.

Well the weekend got off to very smooth start.
Having shaved less than 24hrs ago the Pushbutton gave a DFS+ in two passes. Scentwise the Fine Platinum and Floid Black complement each other wonderfully.
Have a great weekend everyone.
