SOTD: Saturday 13th January - Friday 19th January 2018.

Prep ~ Shower, Donkey & Goats milk soap
Razor ~ Ever-Ready 1914 with bakelite handle fitted
Blade ~ Gem SS Coated
Soap ~ Grooming Dept ~ Absinthe & Leather
Brush ~ Omega boar
Post ~ Thayers Rose Petal
Scent ~ Creed - Green Irish Tweed (Sample)

After a week away from my SE razors it was good to break out the 1914 fitted with a slightly longer and fatter handle.
The soap as well as smelling great was as slick as only GD soaps can be, as slick as ice! The Omega special boar is broken in nicely and will only improve with use, a lovely brush indeed.
I'm liking the Creed Green Irish Tweed, I will have to check out the price but I have a feeling it's going to be over my self imposed limit !

Wishing you all a wonderful day whatever you are doing....:) P.

Prep: Hot shower and Neutrogena face wash
Pre: King of Shaves pre shave oil
Razor: Razorock Mamba with Titanium handle (on loan)
Razor: ATT S2
Razor blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Green
Brush: Maseto 24mm Silvertip
Soap: Razorock Stallion
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Razorock Stallion Aftershave

Shave report from last night. I wasn't in the best frame of mind to write anything last night. I'd ‘got one on me'/'got my arse in my hands/ ‘pissed-off!' Take your pick? :cursing::mad:

The Razorock Mamba was very kindly sent to me by James AKA @Acer89.

I'm afraid the Razorock Mamba was too mild for me. I struggled to get any blade feel or feedback on the first pass. It was only on the second pass I started feel the blade and hear any feedback. I did three full passes but my neck was still nowhere near close enough. I grabbed the ATT S2 to finish off.

Having used the Mamba last night it also confirms I don't like razor with the tabs of the blade concealed. There's a reason for overhang…

The Razorock Stallion soap and aftershave worked well, leaving my face feeling very soft and the scent hung around for a few hours too. I should have used a stiffer brush though. The Maseto Silvertip works wonders with creams but not really suited to soaps….well last night it didn't anyway. I guess it was just one of those shaves. :meh:

Thanks again to James for the loan of the razor. I do really appreciate all the razors you send me, even though it might not always come across this way.:(

Cheers
Rob AKA ‘Mr Happy'

Broke out the Aluminium General for a change. Lighter than its Brass and S/S cousins but just as nimble and efficient. Lovely scent from the warm OSP lather which gave me a grand result.
Hope you all have as good.

A wonderful picture full of colour, very pleasing to the eye :) P.

Very good, I think we should have a show us your cabinet post. I love to see others, it makes me feel normal! :)

+1 on the show us your cabinet post.

I don't have one per say - I would love something, similar to what they had in the film, Kingsman for all the pens, guns, grenades, obviously tailored for wet shaving :)

Schick G8 Injector
Schick Proline B-20 (3)
TTFFC Let It GO
Thayers Rose, Myrsol Emulsion & 4711 Ice Cool Cologne

Now I have used all my razors at least once this year. A lovely shave today, been a while since I used my injector and these B-20's really make a difference. My last one I used 4 times so curious to see how well this one lasts. The soap reminds me very much of P&B Denali, a nice cold face feel.
