Alum Block./Cold Water Face Rinse./Aloe Vera Gel .

Denim ~ Original A/S Lotion.

Greetings,

A relaxing sunday morning 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The 99R was the star of the shave today, outstandingly smooth, matched up with the astra sp on it's second use..Superb!

Finishing the shave off in very old school style with a generous splash of denim original a/s lotion..wonderful stuff!.."for men who don't have to try, too hard!
"Not a very pc comment these days, back in the day it was a "welcome-mat hairy-chested medallion-man" kind of a scent apparently, to my sense of smell which isn't the best, it has a very masculine leather / woody scent, and it's staying around power is quite remarkable, 3-4 hours, not too bad for a inexpensive range aftershave, however it's does have a bit of a kick to it,.which i personally don't mind, but it mellows after a minute or so,having glycerin in it which is one of it's main ingredients, leaving my rhino skin feeling soft & hydrated... all in all a good every day aftershave that shouldn't be mocked at until tried & tested out on the ladies.:D

'I can hear the choice remarks now!..but i'm not bothered, in the slightest, i love the old school classic fragrances'.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling like a "man who doesn't have to try, too hard"!.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

TOBS Sandalwood ~ Mason Pearson Super Badger ~ Mappin & Webb "Trustworthy" SR ~ TOBS Sandalwood

Must say, performance of TOBS is really not very good at all, I find the shaving cream to be very lacklustre with little to no slickness or residual slickness (Geo. F. Trumper creams are definitely superior) and the aftershave is like splashing neat alcohol on your face, terrible... But that scent! Its intoxicating! That's the only reason I keep using it :p

Glyce Lime
Edwin Jagger DE89
Pol Silver
The Personal Barber synthetic
Norse Bergamot soap
Fold Cedar Wood moisturiser

First time out with new stuff from this month's subscription package. It went well except for a large cut on my top lip. That was down to carelessness thought, too much pressure and the wrong angle on the razor.

Not sure what to make on the Ach Brito Glyce soap. It smells clean and refreshing but I am not sure how much it helps as a pre shave soap. Going to give it a few more tries and if it makes no difference just use it as a regular face soap.

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Rooney 3/1 Ivory Finest (22/44)
XPEC Original (Forester) shaving cream
Delta Echo Ink Edition Feather AS-D2/Stork 'Ghost Rider' Bronze
Wilkinson Light Brigade (8)
Floris Santal aftershave

Another great shave. Just an almond sized scoop of the cream made way too much luxurious, rich lather. I like its scent, which is not overpowering at all; it reminds me of Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet but is somewhat less pungent. The blade continues to give me a very smooth, close shave, and the Santal was a perfect finishing touch.
