Evening chaps!
Very brief report tonight as I'm completely cream crackered. One of the dogs decided she wanted to stay up most of the night last night partying around, Grrrrrr.
Anyways, a quick polish over as I'd only shaved last evening.
Rockwell razor on #3
Astra sp blade #1
Taylor's shaving cream
Razorock Italian barber synthetic brush
Superdrug as moisturiser
Atkinson's "oud save the king"
A good shave with no issues.
Sorry, no pictures tonight :D

Back today from Orkney. Had a fantastic time hiking on Hoy. I hadn't bothered to shave since Sunday morning and had to go out this evening. Three and a half days growth taken down with the minimum of fuss. I am really enjoying the Hawk. Thanks to Tom @nolisco for the LPL Italian Barbershop which arrived this afternoon. Great stuff! :)

Blade: Schick Proline
Razor: Cobra Classic (On Loan)
Brush: Maseto 26mm silvertip barber handle
Soap: TOBs Lime
Post: Lime aftershave balm "A" Tester @neilbart
EDT: none for test purposes

Well what a difference a blade makes.
Having recently read various reviews from members here I decided to select the Schick Proline blade so kindly donated to me by the Cobra owner @Digimonkey . Thank you Iain

I was bitten for the first time this evening on my first stroke. A decent cut under the ear was obtained. Two weepers to follow around the chin but I asked myself, (was it worth it?)
Answer. "Hell yes!"

I think this is the first razor I have ever tried where a blade is SO important to the shave.
An unbelievable 3 pass shave that has left my skin super smooth.
If I was to review the blades, I.E. The Feather soft Guard V Schick Proline, the Feather would be knocked out in the first round. Despite the fact that I was able to obtain a BB Shave with the Soft Guard, the amount of effort it took had no comparison what so ever to the Proline.

Brush and soap combo was a lovely experience. I used the TOB's LIme soap purely for the purpose of my trial with the balm.
Soap is great stuff and I will comment on the balm as soon as the trial is over.

Enjoy your shaves! :)

Razor: Charcoal Goods Lvl 2 SB Magnum
Blade: GSB (2)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers Bishop
Soap: Mike's Lime
Post: Thayers' Witch Hazel Lemon
Frag: Farina 1709

Mike's soap is a superb performer. My last couple of shaves had been less than stellar so I was wondering what was happening. Going back to a soap that I know the properties of is my way of pushing the reset button. I must now get rid of a couple soaps that did not perform for me these last couple of days.

Good early morning this is my last shave in West of London and I'm heading home sweet home in the Land of OZ.

Safe home mate - I believe that you will be going back to an 'early summer,' - how could you tell? My landlady and good friend is from Brisbane - and she described the climate in Oz as either hot or too f***ing hot. yours - I.
