A morning of firsts.
Yesterday, my Captain's Choice shaving bowl arrived and used for the first time this morning. I love it. It is so easy to get a lather going. Another first is using a Catie's Bubbles soap. The scent is nice, the soap really delivers and is easy to lather up. The skin feels good afterwards.
The last first was using the Merkur on setting 2. I am slowly adjusting the setting upwards during the next days.
It feels a bit more agressive than yesterday but still good. There seems to be a more accoustic feedback than on setting 1.5.
To sum it up, I had a pretty good shave this morning.

Nice shave set up. Great to read your getting on with the Merkur Progress,like all razors aggressive or non-aggressive it'll take a while for you to get familiar with it, and to adjust to it...That's the beauty of an adjustable, it suites all types of beard growth. Enjoy.B

Vreto Pine/Menthol (sample) ~ Yaqi Purple Haze ~ Gillette Rocket HD ~ Wilkinson Sword ~ Nivea 2-Phase

Vreto performed very well, exactly as I experienced with the Opium scent though I didn't really like the pine/menthol fragrance... There wasnt much menthol present to my nose and the pine smells like a very old magic tree air freshener hanging inside a Lada 2108 abandoned in the woods outside Smoluća.

Scents are highly subjective so some may love it... Tomorrow its 'Mystic Woods' which smells quite nice even before lathering so I'm looking forward to that.
