SOTD Saturday 23rd Sept-Friday 29th Sept 2017

Evening chaps!
Another top notch shave this evening!
Been on nights and days for a week so I've reverted to my monthly feral self, it can be annoying to say the least working around the lunar calendar, but that's my chosen profession.
Anyway I was dying to get clean, shaven and smelling "um less rustic" :)
So, really nice hot shower, then a guaranteed trouble free shave.
Rockwell razor on #3
Tobs cream
Astra blade #2 and last
Razorock Italian barber synthetic brush
Parfum de Marley's Herod.
Lovely shave, very smooth with no irritation.
Smelling and feeling human again, especially after steak chips, peas and mushrooms washed down with a couple of pints of scrumpy.
Only downside is this is undoubtedly the worst picture I've ever taken, both technically, unimaginative, over exposed and generally unworthy of an sotd post!
Sorry about that, but basically I'm too knackered to do better. :)

Evening Wayne - pretty much everything @nolisco said. You are going to have a hard job finding a horse knot not made by Vie Long. It's about the ratio of tail to mane hair mostly. You can also get them bleached or unbleached. The you have to think about which shape of knot? The Epsilon versions are big brushes - pretty much Chubb 2 size. They all have different characteristics. It depends on what suits you. A good over-view is from Gifts and Care in Valencia. They sell the most complete range I have seen. Juan is really nice to deal with. He puts up with appallingly bad Spanish with good grace and fortitude. Cheers - I.

Thank you very much for the heads up.
I am on the case as we speak. ;)
I have been thinking of buying a horse hair brush for some time to see what the outcome of them will be.
I shall look into the site you so kindly pointed to me and it just so happens that a very good friend of mine is Spanish (Correction Catalan) he would kill me if I called him Spanish :D. and he will translate for me.
I am learning Spanish at the moment but very, very slowly.

Another shave tonight with the slim. On 7 the whole time tonight - think I liked 9 better!

Little irritation... had to make it slightly faster than usual because I have some more work to do before bed. Still a DFS for me. Now for a drink.

De nada - hombre. Moving back to English - it'll be quicker - the website of the company works perfectly in English. Don't complain to me when you suddenly decide you need a full suite of Epsilons. Ha ha. Luego - I.
