I'm a big fan of Sandalwood so don't know why it's taken so long to give these a go, many thanks to @Paul L for including them in a wonderful PIF.
Also, this razor is the same model which nearly put me off Valets, will it fare any better than the last one?
The cream was very slick but not a lot of cushion and the balm left the skin a little sticky. The scent is ok but don't get a lot of Sandalwood.
The razor performed very smoothly and efficiently. Nice razors these Valets.

A fantastic shave with one of my top modern SE razors, the Sabre fitted out with a Pal Super for me is a great combo.
The Vitos Green is new to me and wow what a soap! It lathered like a dream and the almond scent was wonderful, and the lather was warmed throughout the shave by the fab Giles Scuttle and painted on with the Uber soft Big Bruce.
Finnished off this trouble free BBS shave with a little BBA PSB followed by a few dabs of Royal water in the right places :)

Hello fellow members. My shave today was very nice indeed.
my brush: Semogue owners club boar
my razor: Merkur 41c open comb head with a cheap aluminum long handle. I do prefer longer handles so if any of you out there want to swap a merkur 41c short handle for a longer handle please pm me.

A fresh blade in the Natural Angle works well for me. I've always found it the best way to 'break in' the GEM blade. Coupled with the excellent OSP, the shave was very close and silky smooth.

A lovely shave again, this blade is very nice I may push it and see how many uses I can get from it. Lost two hairs from the brush, not often that happens to me. The Haslinger is always a pleasure to use, very good soaps. I am very much liking the Emulsion but for me the scent is a bit too strong for too long. I'd appreciate a lighter or less lingering scent. But it is a good balm which is what matters. ​

Thursday shave.

One growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: Cella
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade: Polsilver (3rd)
Brush: Rockwell 400 Noir (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Proraso Green Aftershave and Nivea Sensitive Cooling.

2.5 passes (did not attempt ATG on neck due to slight irritation from previous shave). Aparted om that Cella – slick and smells wonderful. Gillette Slim Adjustable – Keeper and PolSilver blades – definitely ordering more.
