Greetings,

Over the last month or so i've re-discovered my inexpensive creams and forgot just how good these wonderful shaving creams can perform..The Super-Max Classic cream created a wonderful slick lather for my shave in no time & leaving a great post shave feeling to my face.

The highlight of the shave this morning was the 92R/W.S. Classic duo performing with smooth non-aggressive efficiency. A excellent dfs.

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Arko ~ Comfort Cologne .

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

The Spice Of Life.

Prep ~ Valbora Gylcerlanoina Soap ~Shower
Razor ~ Cobra Classic
Blade ~ Schick Proline P-30
Soap ~ Stirling - Spice
Brush ~ YaQi Moka Express 26mm Badger
Bowl ~ Giles Shaving
Post ~ Stirling- Spice Aftershave
Scent ~ Viktor & Rolf - Spicebomb Extreme EDP

Having lots of shaving soap can be a double edge sword, it's great to have a vast choice but sometimes a soap may get forgotten about and not used, this was one of those soaps. Stirling Spice, some may disagree but I think it's very much like the original Old Spice from Shulton in both scent and quality of the lather.
So throwing the Cobra fitted out with a Proline and my Moka Express brush into the mix could only mean one thing, a fantastic shave.
A splash of Stirling Spice Aftershave fully woke me up and then a few sprays in the right places with Spicebomb Extreme EDP by V&R completed a very pleasing shave. :) one happy Blademonkey!

Wishing you all a wonderful day......P.

Brush: Frank Shaving 20mm Best Badger
Soap: Meißner Tremonia Wild Woods
Razor: Parker 99R
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (3)

Like @Blademonkey , I'm reviving a forgotten-about soap today. It was put to one side because it gives some irritation with heavy use, but I've ignored it for the best part of a month so there's no problems in that area today. I was concerned I might have let it dry out and so slightly overload the brush with water, but the Meißner Tremonia can cope.

As I suspected, this blade really sings in the Parker, but doesn't wake the household.

There's a nick on my chin which is entirely down to user error, but I'm very happy with the set up.

Happy shaving, 'tis summer tomorrow!

Soap: Cyril R Salter tallow hard soap
Post: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
Scent: Armani Acqua Di Gio

First use of the Omega premium which I acquired last week after Connaught's restock, and I'm very impressed. I only have one other boar to compare it, the excellent Semogue 620 which is ideal for face lathering. After a few days cold water treatment the bristles are softer than the Semogue was after a years use. The Salter soap is another recent purchase and another delight. It's particularly pleasing that at a time when many mass producers are reformulating and removing tallow, along comes one that reintroduces a hard tallow soap for only a few pounds. Lovely lavender scent with a touch of citrus to my nose. This soap has great cushion and a lovely post shave feel.

Omega 10051
Rockwell 6S
Personna Platinum Chrome (2)
Mondial Antica Barberia Original Citrus
Nivea 2 Phase & Epsilon Blue Mediterranean

Second use of this brush and it is a superb little bit of kit. Perfect size for a small tub like this Mondial soap, made another great lather. Lightly scented soap but a good performer, a much denser lather than previous efforts. A good combination between the Rockwell and Personna. Finished off with a splash of Epsilon, I can see this getting used a lot this coming summer.
