Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic
Soap: LEA Sensitive soap
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Bulldog balm

I have only used the Chubby 2 synth a few times so far, with soap sticks or cream, today was a first with loading soap from a puck. I started to bowl lather and not much was happening so I went straight to face lathering. I loaded for my usual time and the brush did not look like it had much soap compared to my other brushes, but there was plenty of soap hiding somewhere in the Chubby 2. As soon as I started to face lather I was getting copious amounts of great lather. I got this brush with the idea that it would be good to take on holiday, as I would be face lathering while away I think I made the right choice. Now I am wondering about a Badger Chubby for home use................

I actually got around to testing this scent while in John Lewis the other day. It certainly is different and it would have to be a very acquired scent for someone. I can't think of anything which is anywhere near similar, but it is not for me. Perhaps a bit too odd and my wife did make note it had a strong (and strange) definition about it.

What amazed me though is that even with a quick trial squirt on the wrist, one evening shower and one sleep later and I find myself still wearing the same scent. Wonderful longevity and a great advert in this sense for the rest of the Miller Harris range. Need more time to go through the others though as partners insisting 'bottom of the escalator in 10' doesn't allow for 'me time'.
