Thursday 3rd May 2018
Prep: Shower
Razor: Le Touriste
Blade: Le Touriste
Brush: TurnNshave Quarter Moon
Soap: Vintage Culmark ?
Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft)
EDP: Miller Harris Poirier d'un Soir

This soap was in an old Wade shaving scuttle probably 1960's, I'm guessing at Culmark simply as most of them were, I am pretty sure it is tallow but it has that old musty tallow soap smell to it where an old soap has been kept confined for years, I don't think it is rancid. I gave away the scuttle and I'm unsure if I'll bin the soap as it does perform superbly, common sense says ditch it!

Regards
Dick.

tvål: Haslinger/AOS Sandalwood i burk från Ikea
borste: Zenith Dark Synt
shavette: Dovo med 1/2 Feather DE-blad

re Feather, not my favourite blade: First day typically feeling very sharp and harsh to start with but soon mellows down and shave is overall really good, Second day a really good shave, Third day starts really good but suddenly blade is feeling old and tired. No more Feather for me.

The Kai Pink performed perfectly well in the General, not bad blades at all, cheers Barry.
The 404 is coming into its own now and is becoming a pleasure to use, nice backbone, good exfoliation without discomfort, a decent brush for a decent price.
Cella soap and splash, great staples, can't say any fairer.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Preshave: Shower
Soap: Bulldog Shave gel
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Derby Premium (2)
Postshave: Cold water, Humprey's Witch hazel & Bulldog Moisturiser

It was the second shave with a new Merkur 34c. As I needed only one pass with some touch up today, I decided to try the Bulldog shave gel again, which I liked when I was using a cartridge razor. It was quick and okay with this one pass shave today, but really I like a good shaving soap much better now.

Thur 3rd May

Omega 11126 boar
Lea Classic Soap
ER 1914- 12 tooth
Gem S/S ( 2 )
Lea Classic A/S Lotion

I regret not using this Razor more often, possibly because I prefer longer handles.Todays Shave was superb,as though it was smooth it was also very effective. I was with ease and no problems able to attain an ultra close finish.Shaves that I have had with a Sabre V1 and ATT SE G2 have been poor, and the 1914 is IMHO far superior.
I wonder how the earlier 11 tooth versions compare with this.I have sold on my other ones apart from one with a detached spring.
