Prep: Hot Shower with L'Occitaine Cade soap
Blade: Feather #1
Razor: The General (On Loan)
Soap: Mikes Natural Soaps "Lilly of the Valley"
Bowl: Steve Woodhead
Brush: Maseto 26mm Silvertip Barber Handle
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel & PS for men Post shave Moisturiser.
EDT: L'Occitaine Cade

First shave ever using the General and indeed an injector razor. My initial thoughts was the concern of the size of the head. To my surprise it was more manageable than I imagined. The weight is heavy but care must be taken with the handle that could become a little slippery. I would like to see some Knurling in it.
The blade is sharp. Sharp enough to give me a small nick to the chin but sorted with some Alum.
A 3 pass shave DBS.

This is the first time I have used Mikes Natural soap and to be honest I do not like the scent and I feel I did not "Dial" it in properly. In order to give the General a chance I am going to use a soap I know and am fond of for the next shave using this razor.
The soap gave me loads of lather but the slickness was not there for me.

The brush and dish combo are fantastic. I had lather everywhere using the painting technique with the Brush.

The witch hazel is fantastic stuff and I am quite impressed with the "PS for Men" post shave Moisturiser. Available from Primark for £3.00. It really is an excellent bang for buck product.

Finishing off with the wonderful L'Occitaine Cade I am good to go.

Looking forward to my next shave with this razor.
Have a lovely evening.
Wayne. :)

My only non-vintage SE and I really like it. Aesthetically I would prefer a bit of knurling, but I enjoy shaving with it and like the result I get from it.
Winner winner chicken dinner.
Why do I always think of Michael Winner, when I say that?

The soap and cream together made a great lather with just a touch of menthol.

Vitos Red croap
ATT SE1 & Windrose Handle
Schick Proline ( 6 )
Alum Rub / Rinse off
Massimo Dutti A/S lotion

Another heavyweight Shave today using an ATT SE1. Just like the others I have used these Razors really respond to a light touch and deliver a nice smooth Shave. Today was no exception and aided by the dependable Vitos achieved a top notch Shave, with no problems .

Razor: WS Hydro Sensitive
Brush: Simpsons Chubby Synthetic
Cream: Coates Rose
Post: Nivea 2 in 1 / L'Oréal post shave

Bit of razor burn today, don't think the WS sensitive is as good as the normal hydro.

I don't think I'm going to use the Supply SE so will likely shift it on with some of the soaps and balms I'm not using. Got an itchy finger for some new software, suggestions?

Evening shave.

Nivea Face Wash, BBA Shave Oil.
Cella Crema Da Barba.
RazoRock Bruce 24mm Synthetic.
Little Wren Pottery.
Schick L1.
Japanese Schick (3).
Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve.
BBA Post Shave Balm.

I think that if ever I need to have a shave in a hurry I will use the L1. I seem to whip around my face in what feels like a very short time. But the shave is still comfortable and very close. Finished with a splash of the Special Reserve, and why not? Have a good evening chaps.
