I Had a Late Evening Shave with My Friodur 7/8th..This Razor Sports a 20 K Surgical Black Arkansas Edge & is a Very Keen & Very Comfortable Shaver..I Always Wonder Why I Dont See More of these Razors on Forums as they are Fantastic Shavers..;)

I Am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..:D:D

Prep: Hot shower:/ Yardley of London ~English Lavender Soap Body Wash & Vosene Shampoo .


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.


Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: APShaveCo ~ Cashmere synthetic.

Bowl Lather.

Soap: Proraso Red

Blade: Voskhod T.C.(2)

Razor: Parker 98R.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Cold Water Face Rinse./ Aloe Vera Gel.


Benjamins~ Mentholated Bay Rum.

Greetings,

A very smooth efficient 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The Parker 98R paired up very nicely with the Voskhod blade on it's second use.A very enjoyable shave.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Benjamins ~Mentholated Bay Rum.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Yet another fab Gem bladed shave using my 1914 and the wonderful LEA soap that punches well above its weight when compared to more expensive tallow soaps.
Finnishing off with the lovely Iris Prima from Penhalligon's .

Razor: GEM OCMM
Blade: GEM Carbon NOS
Brush: Vie Long / Tuxedo
Cream: Maca Root
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDP: Miller Harris La Fumée Maroc

These are quite nice blades that seem to have survived quite well, they are a fairly modern carbon GEM blade, I suspect 1950's, they have the mock damascening on the blade and a steel spine but they are a thinnish blade with a thin spine and with cut outs and are in a modern style dispenser, each blade covered with a thick layer of grease.

I'm really enjoying the GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip, I wish I could say more and I'm sure you'll understand how I feel about this Micromatic Bullet Tip.

Am really enjoying shaves with modern AC/SE Razors, which seem to work well on my beard growth.
As a daily Shaver I find that they make an immediate impact on my heavy beard , none being overly
aggressive but all giving great blade feel, that allows one to assess the progress of a Shave.

Today I found that the Kai blade provided a really smooth and comfortable Shave, perhaps not a close a finish as with other blades but more than acceptable.I am tending to favour the heavier offerings, which just seem more efficient than the Alu. models, perhaps they are more suited to my beard growth.
