My first shave with the Mergress and after several Progresses that have come and gone, I think this might be THE ONE. For a first shave it was superb, no nicks, weepers or irritation, even ATG on my neck. I think the extra weight and longer handle may be making all the difference, my previous vanilla Progress experience have all been short handled versions. I am looking forward to the coming days shaves and hope they are as good as today's.

The lather is superb, both in terms of scent and performance. A lovely, rich woodsy scent. I hope I get to try some of their other offerings, especially Morocco, that sounds right up my street. ​

Didn't really need to shave, not much to crop so a quick single pass with a few touch ups gave me a very close and comfortable shave. The PAL adjustable is superb.

First time with the Boreal and its performance is excellent as is the deep forest scent.

The brush is nicely broken in now and I am thrilled with it. This is my first but certainly will not be my last horse hair brush.

Finished with the wonderful CADE that I found matches very well with the soap.

I really enjoy using this razor, a DFS attained effortlessly and I don't even find the extra short handle at all bothersome now I'm used to it.
The Tabac soap and splash were their usual brilliant selves.
