Thur 5th October

Vulfix 404 mixed
Faena Sandalwood
Brass General/ Windrose handle
Kai Titan mild pink [ 1 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Floid Vigoroso A/S lotion

A much better Shave with the General today, obviously I should not push for optimum usage on a blade,as the performance may well disappoint. Today used the Kai blade rather than the Feather Pro,
and found it to provide a nice smooth shave, with an excellent all round finish.

Razorock 400 aluminium
Merkur 34C HD
Supermax Super Platinum (2)
Pannacrema Nuavia Verde
Thayers Rose, Myrsol Emulsion & Al Rehab Sultan

The brush is lovely, makes a good lather and I had forgotten how nice a good synthetic is. I think each type of hair whether natural or synthetic has its place. A good shave today, the Verde is very nice but I can't see me buying it again, can't justify the price. Al Rehab on the other hand is lovely stuff, can't go wrong with them. Really like this and Silver. Looking at the den, there seems to have been some breeding, may need a thin out this weekend.

Blade: Gem SS #5
Razor: Ever ready 1912
SR: Henckels Friodur (On Loan)
Soap: NSS Moroccan Sands
Brush: Razorock 400 Aluminium Synth.
Post: Thayers witch hazel & Bull Dog Moisturiser
EDT: CK one

A very entertaining shave with the straight today, I was all fingers and thumbs. Only managed one tentative pass and decided to put her down for another day before any accidents.
Finished off using the amazing 1912 with a 2 pass XTG/XTG and was left BBS.

The NSS was so slick and cushioned although my skin was left a little dry from taking so much time on my first pass with the straight but I did manage to solve the problem by dipping the wonderful Rozorock into a little water and reworking the soap.

Thayers is working wonders with my skin as is the Bull Dog. The moisturiser is superb for the money IMO.
Finished off with a generous spray of CK one.

Enjoy your shaves :)

The Leresche 34 is a pretty aggressive piece (and the Tian Li needs some break in) and I managed a couple weepers on my chin figuring that out. Once accustomed to its ways I appreciated its efficiency, finishing up the head shave portion of the morning show in just one ATG pass with clean ups. A very close shave.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Soap: Musgo Real Spiced Citrus
Razor: ATT Kronos M2
Blade: Vintage Aussie/Scots Permasharp (4)
Splash: Lucky Tiger Tonic

Love my Musgo Real cream. It lathers so easily and voluminously, and has a lovely warm gentle scent, reminiscent of European colognes. It also contains lanolin, which I believe significantly enhances its performance.
Three passes and a wee clean-up produced BBS - the lather providing some welcome residual slickness.
A generous splash of the orange-scented Lucky Tiger Tonic, and I feel ready to take on the World.
A glorious shave!

Lovely straight, don't worry, it's a bit like that the first time! :)
