Super, smooth two pass shave this morning, the TFS soap gave a superb aroma of Italian citrus, the Bart's Balm smells just wonderful, and the Creed is my favourite scent by far. Starting the day well.

Omega 11126 boar
De Vergude hand
Supply SE V1 & V2 No 3 plate
Schick Proline ( 4 )
Pitralon Polar A/S lotion

After using the PAL S/S Adj. yesterday I just had to use the Supply SE. From the off this Razor has frustrated me,could not get the angles right and then even on a No 3 plate could not get a decent Shave. I managed to get a V2 No 3 plate and that did the trick.
Despite the difference in manufacture, I found the revised plate worked well with V1 body. Today I had by best ever Shave with the Supply, very smooth and close. The Shave time is now reasonable, being similar to the time.taken when using my most efficient Razors.

Pre shave: Warm shower and Nivea face wash + Noxzema shave cream
Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: NOS Gillette Stainless - Czech Republic (#18)
Soap: The Traditional Shaving Co. Leodis cream
Brush: Vulfix 404
Bowl: Korium
Post shave: Alum block, cold water splash and Humphreys Cucumber witch hazel
AS: Lab series balm

I decided to see how long one of the NOS Gillette Stainless blades from the Czech Republic could last, I think I have probably gone past the sensible limit, this shave and the last two shaves before that were not as close as the previous shaves. The reason I carried on to this 18th shave was it still felt very smooth even up to this shave. However closeness of the shaves were going downhill so it is time to end this little experiment.

Since I last posted here in SOTD, I've continued to use the Gillette Fusion format. It must be a good couple of weeks, perhaps more, since I posted. I've been shaving with the Fusion flexball, both steam and powered. The blades in use are the a regular Fusion 5 (orange/grey casing) and a ProGlide (blue/black casing), now both well into double figures.

For soap, it's the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2 in 1 gel which is lightly cooling and ever so slightly feeding for post shave; just right as I'm using the quite drying L'Oreal Men Expert Pure Power Charcoal soap beforehand, which softens up the hair just lovely. I much prefer a dry feeling after shaving. I think I'd describe the overall effect as "matte". Dried, not dry.

Aftershaves have included a good run through my bottles of Brut: Original, Musk, Passion, Oceans, Alaska & Attraction Totale; Clubman, Clubman VIBR, Pashana, Jovan Musk, Noyava Zarya Chypre & Russian Forest.

Cheers all! Enjoy your coming shaves ...
