~SOTD~

Prep ~ D.R Harris Almond Oil soap, Luke warm shower
Razor ~ Colonial Razors General in brass
Blade ~ Feather Pro Super
Soap ~ Klar Kabinett
Brush ~ Zenith 28mm Manchurian Badger
Post ~ Thayers Rose Petal
Scent ~ Mancera - Roses Vanille

I like Klar soaps, I love Klar Kabinett. So this is a real treat for me to indulge myself in this guilty pleasure. It is out of production and therefore only a finite amount of this wonderful soap left to be had as samples but at a price but it's worth it. I saw @TomG had his Klar Kabinett in a ceramic pot befitting to a soap so great and felt great shame that mine is only in an aluminium screw top container, Tom knows how to house such a soap and has put me to shame, I will rectify this situation ASAP :)
My razor for today was the ever dependable General and when fitted out with a Feather Pro Super is a delight to use, this razor and blade combo is outstanding.
The zenith Manchurian Badger is a brush that can rip up any hard soap like a boar yet be as soft as any Silvertip should be and with a 28mm knot there is more than enough badger on your face to satisfy any man.
My shave with the General was smooth and very efficient only needing a couple of passes to acheve perfection.
To keep the Rose Scent going I chose Mancera Roses Vanille as my scent of today and very nice it is too.

Wishing you all a splendid day.

Paul.
What a superb line-up of balanced shave products. And there's nowt wrong with aluminium or stainless containers, Paul; I have plenty of my soaps housed in the same. What a superb job you've done with the Kabinett labels; puts my clumsy effort to shame.
I also like the contrast of metals in your photo, and also a nicely thought-out scent combo from start to finish :).

You are too kind but thank you Tom :) P.

Vulfix 404
Vitos Super Red
ER Streamline
Gem S/S ( 1 )
Pitralon Polar A/S lotion

My first SE/Gem Shave in nearly 2 months, with my favourite the ER Streamline. Was a contrast to yesterday with a modern AC/SE, requiring a lot more care and attention during the Shave to avoid mishap. I chose to use the dependable Vitos to lessen the danger of error.

The Shave was completed without any problems, and the quality of the the overall finish was superior to that attained yesterday with the ATT SE1. Once mastered the Vintage SE razors are superb Shavers, though blade longevity does not match that of the AC blades.

My first go with a Soapy Science soap, cheers @Scott, and it's pretty good stuff.
It's very slick, a bit light on cushion but I find the slickness compensates for this and the Cobra agreed.
The scent isn't great but it's mild enough to live with.
All in all not a bad soap.
Happy Shaving one and all.
