Managed to lapse slightly in concentration and go purely ATG at the base of my neck, resulting in 3 perfectly-spaced weepers, which quickly stopped. Anything goes except ATG I've found, probably as my hair lies so flat there!

2 passes and I was done, with little issue otherwise. Feeling a tad raw in places but nothing major. Not sure I really get on with these Feathers... I think I'm more accustomed to blunter, smoother blades but life goes on!

A cracker of a shave this morning. Two days growth hewn down with 3 passes and no pick-ups. Incredibly smooth.

It's the first outing for the Old. As you'd expect, there is a fair bit of brassing, but I think it gives a lovely patina. There are two characteristic hairline cracks at the top and bottom. A manufacturing thang back in the day, it seems, as there are a few that have them from what I've seen. They don't detract from the performance though; and not big enough to fanny about with epoxy etc.

I'd recommend an Old for anyone dipping their toe into Open Comb land. For me, it's incredibly efficient with a light touch, good prep, and so on.

A wonderful 3 pass
BBS Shave achieved with the gentlest of touches.
A DE razor that everyone should try in my opinion.

First time with the TOBS sandalwood. I like the scent, cushion is good but perhaps lacking in a little slickness. I will bowl lather with its next outing and hopefully make better judgement.

Finished with the magic of Thayers and the sublime Cade.
