Vulfix 404 mixed
Vitos Red croap
Brass General
Feather Pro ( 1 )
Alum Rub / Rinse off
Myrsol Antesol A/S lotion

Had one of my best ever Shaves with the General , and was fairly happy wielding it despite my continued misgivings with the Handle.I feel sure that the finish achieved was really helped by the great lather that the Vitos provides.

Wednesday pm

Man Cave Olivestone Facial Scrub
3P Preshave Cream
RSC Shaving Cream
Kent Infinity Synthetic Brush
Focus Dynamic SE loaded with a Treet Durasharp carbon blade
Alum block and rinse
Arko Classic Cream
Blue Stratos AS

Continuing with my cheap and cheerful tube creams.....I held off shaving today as I was expecting the delivery of my Focus Dynamic SE. The RSC cream is something I am familiar and confident with when trying a new piece of hardware.
Well.....I am in a state of turmoil. In all my time shaving....I have preached....'NO Pressure'
This razor has a pivot....so to a certain extent it will perform like a cartridge razor and requires a certain amount of pressure. I had a 3 pass BBS shave. The razor is well built and designed. The blade was held firmly in place with no sharp corners to cause injury. The Durasharp blade is sharp....but I dont think I could have cut myself if I had wanted to. Angle of attack is set up for you.
Many will say it is too mild....but it is incredibly efficient. I could be cruel and say it is an upmarket metal Gillette Guard without aircraft carry-on. However it is a brilliant twist on the SE....massive blade choice and I DID enjoy using it! Its a keeper!

(Sorry this turned into a review)

finally retired the polsilver - over 20 shaves easily. moved onto the Gem stainless with one of my SE razors i cant remember the name of right now - looks like the robot soldiers from the star wars prequels (roger, roger), kent soap, caldey island a/s aloe vera gel. today i used my frank shaving 28mm pur tech - i always find it too bouncy and it's tiring to use so possibly a future PIF. FANTASTIC shave though - skin feels amazing. anyone struggling with MWF/Kent - just smear it all over your chops and bob's your uncle

Razor blade: GEM Personna (3)
Brush: Maseto 24mm Silvertip

A better shave with the Streamline on loan from @Boru62 (thank you Kevin).
Still a couple of tender spots on the neck but a very close shave.

First outing with the Silvertip Maseto. LOVED IT!

It's getting late so goodnight...

First shave at home after two months in SE Asia. New Improved was milder than I expected but delivered a very nice shave of the two day beard. I decided to give a postwar Tech another go for the head shave. (That's a Star handle on the Gillette head) I'll say it went better than expected but not well enough to stop me from finishing up with the Ikon Tech. BIC CP blade felt fine in the beastly Shavecraft.

Pass around Rocnel SE-G

Day three, today I rounded the corners of my Pal super carbon blade with an old hone stone because I was picking up sometimes deep sometimes not so deep scratches / cuts from the outer edges of the blade when shaving.
I was begining to look like an African tribesman with the scarification on my face two of which look like they are going to be permanent .

I whipped up a great lather from the great Vaobra in my Little Wren bowl and painted the lather on with the ever so soft Razorock silvertip Synthetic .

The shave today changed , no more scratching from the blade edges so no more blood loss, riding the cap I had a smooth and relitively comfortable shave apart from under my nose where it is impossible to maintain the correct angle for comfort and opened up some wounds from yesterday.

I think this razor is flawed in its design for the edges of the blade to dig in under normal shaving and my doctoring of my blade has shown this and stopped this from happening.

A good application of BBA post shave balm was soothing and eased the discomfort on the area above my top lip.

I finished with a dab or three of Tom Ford ~ London (copy perfume oil from Mr Perfume) on my upper chest and pulse points.

I may give my face a chance to recover tomorrow and use my Blackland Sabre, a much better razor in my opinion and one that has never drawn blood or left scars on my face.

@Ferry-shave , your tag as requested .

Whishing you all a good day........:)
