Supply No1 + V2 -3dot plate
Schick- Chick [ 3 ]
Puig Quorum A/S Lotion

As a follow up to a Shave with the Personna S/S Injector, I used the look a like Supply. Both Razors proved difficult to come to terms with, but now I feel confident that I can now get good Shaves with both of them.
I feel that the Supply is a smoother Razor and probably more forgiving, unless you loose your concentration which I did sustaining a rare weeper. The Finished Shave was nice and close all round, and I think is superior to the one with the Personna.

Last night's SOTD. [emoji41]

Razor: Rocnel Elite 2018 LE
Brush: Ed Brice with AP Shave Co 30mm Tuxedo knot
Lather: Chisled Face Cryogen & TOBS Peppermint
Pre-Shave: Mickey Lee Soapworks
AS Balm: Sudsy Soapery Spicy Pumpkin

Eye-watering menthol kick to this shave with the combination of Cryogen and TOBS Peppermint.

The Mickey Lee pre-shave works as well as any pre-shave oil and has the added benefit of the addition of a healthy amount of Glycerin.

Despite having the Rocnel for a few weeks, I used it for the first time last night and wasn't disappointed. It's a noticeable step-up in efficiency from the 2017 version and the best way I can describe the shave is that it was like a knife through butter, it was that smooth.

I rounded everything off with some Spicy Pumpkin balm, which proved a perfect counterpoint to the menthol.

All-in-all it was a great shave. [emoji106]

Thursday, 10 January

PreShave: Warm water
Cream: Trumper Spanish Leather
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled cream bowl
Razor: The Sledgehammer (Merkur 39C)
Blade Sputnik (3)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: None—a work day

Third shave with a Sputnik. Like the first two, it felt smooth, left me with no nicks. A fine shave. May add them to my rotation; but there are a couple of other Gillettes in the rotation already.

Have a good evening folks, ... .

YaqI Chianti 24mm Synthetic
Ach Brito Lavanda Cream
Ikon 102 / Windrose
GSB (?)
Floid Mentolado Vigoroso Aftershave

I lost count how many times I had used this Silver Blue blade as I rinse and dry my razors after use and leave the blades in the razor.
Note to self - keep count in future.
However many uses it had seen, the shave was good - very smooth.
