Zenith 506U TS - Lea Classic Cream - General Brass - Schick Proline P #6 - Alum - Electrif's Lemon Chill A/S - Dove Instant Hydration Cream

A very refreshing and extremely efficient result from todays setup. The gradual hit of menthol from the Lea gives a pleasant face cool. Followed by the more intense chill from my A/S blend.
Great!!!!

Wickham's 1912 Cashmere
RazoRock BC Silvertip 24mm synth
Face lather
ER 1912 Streamline
Gem SS PTFE
Thayer's Cucumber and Aloe Vera
Wickham's 1912 Cashmere after shave

Shaving planetary alignment today. A perfect shave in an imperfect world. Every time I use the Streamline I offer my thanks (as an agnostic, the recipient varies). This behemoth of a razor gives outstanding results with a gentle touch.

I hadn't used the Wickham's soap for a while, and it really is excellent; outstanding lather, performance and scent. It harmonises beautifully with the hardware and the crowning glory is the matching after shave. Sublime post shave feel...

I bought a couple of Vreto soaps from @DamianJ and he kindly threw some Rockwell blades in gratis.
I really like the soap, nice rich lather, pretty slick and for a vegetarian soap quite nourishing.
The scent? Well, as I'm the fourth owner of it I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I get a nice warm, rich cigar smoke and something else I can't put my finger on, but it isn't cognac.
The blade? It seemed okay until it hit the wiry grey stubble and then it wasn't the best blade I've ever used but not the worst either.
All in all, a decent midweek shave.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Cella ~ SOC ~ Mergress ~ Nacet ~ Proraso Balm

Wow! What a lather from the Cella, magnificent stuff... I might be getting carried away but I'd say there is very little difference between the quality of Cella lather and most of the artisan offerings available. Scent is marzipan out of the tub and almost scentless on the face, OK maybe a hint of something sweet like an almond croissant.

Pre - Shower, Brush - Semogue / TSN 2018 LE - Finest Badger 2 Band / 25mm, Soap - Turtleship - Pine, Razor - ATT SE1, Blade - Kai Captain, Post - Proraso - Eucalyptus & Menthol, AS - Floid - Black
Straight - Friodur 72

First try with a knife.
A pair of moves on each cheek.
Will take time to learn the proper way.
Happy Shaving

~SOTD~

Prep ~ Shower, Lavender Glycerin soap
Razor ~ Eskimo Adjustble set to 3
Blade ~ Gillette Rubie Stainless steel, made in London (NOS) Gifted to me by @Dobbo25
Soap ~ Barrister And Mann - Lime, Lavender & Cedarwood
Brush ~ Thater 4125/2 Silvertip
Post ~ Thayers Rose petal
Scent ~ Agua Lavanda Cologne - A. Puig

I received a PM from @Dobbo25 a fellow member asking me if I would like to try a tuck of NOS Gillette Rubies, well I don't need asking twice, yes sir and thank you very much! A day later a small package arrived with said tuck of blades plus around ten assorted NOS blades, well I was like a dog with two tails......keeping it clean, this is a family show! :) so today I cracked open the Rubies and put one in my Eskimo to test.
The soap was lathered apon my face with a brush that is as soft as a cloud and it was good, a great scent and lather to match. I proceeded to shave not knowing what to expect, I know and love modern Rubies but would these be the same.......yes the same, sharp and smooth and the razor cut through my stubble with ease but these felt better because they come from a time that has passed and I know I can't just order a tuck from ebay. There is something special about shaving with these old blades and I get a kick out of it everytime I use a NOS blade, I know I can't be the only shaver to feel this way. :)
Smooth skinned and feeling good, this was a most excellent shave, thanks P. (@Dobbo25 )
To finnish off I stuck to the lavender theme and sloshed about the Puig Agua Lavanda Cologne, just perfect.

It's Friday the 13th so let's be careful out there..........hogwash! Have a nice day folks.....P.
