Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Omega S10018.

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Denim Original ASL.

Palmers ~ Cocoa Butter 24 Hour Moisture Lotion.

Greetings,

Another early morning shave..Once in a while i get what i call a 'WOW SHAVE',my shave this morning was one of them, everything in the shave set up worked together in harmony, the Maca root cream never fails to produce a excellent slick protective lather, and the Indian razor & blade duo matched together superbly, resulting in a flawless 3 pass+ pick ups near bbs shave, with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Palmers ~ Cocoa Butter 24 Hour Moisture Lotion, a new addition to my post-shave softwear, which i've added to my shave set ups for the winter months..To my nose it smells like chocolate, and gives a excellent non-greasy protection against the freezing elements...Superb stuff!

My face is feeling fresh super smooth, & smelling devine.

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Palmer's is excellent stuff. Possibly under rated and mentioned on here. Cheap as chips too. Saw it in Savers for £1.99 last week!

Tuesday 11th December

Pears Glycerine Soap
Vitos Preshave Cream
Supermax Ultimate Shave Cream with added Frankincense & Myrrh FO
Omega S10083 Synthetic Brush
Turkish Copper Bowl
Feather AC RG Razor with a Dorco AC type Blade
Alum and Rinse
Witch Hazel
Barts Cinnamon and Patchouli Aftershave Oil

I saw the Dorco Blades in Maggard's Black Friday Sale and decided to have a go! Definitely not Feathers or Prolines...but smooth and sharp enough. Time will tell on the longevity!

2 passes and a touch up for a very nice shave indeed:)

Return Home Horror Show Shave

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: M&F Brad Sears L7 Tigris Finest Badger
Soap: Haslinger Honig (Tallow)
Razor: Schick Krona
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Post: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel; CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave; Thayers Topical Pain Reliever
Scent: None

Shaving isn't always beer and skittles. Despite using a host of my favourite tried and tested products, this shave was a nightmare!
The blade was dragging across my skin as if I had forgotten to secure the blade tightly (and yes, I checked this several times during the shave).
The lather was lovely and slick; but the shave was a shocker, even with the mild nature of the Schick Krona razor.
The result was a sore face, and loads of angry irritation on my chin and neck. Post-shave, I was forced to go to my first aid kit in a bottle; Thayers Topical Pain Reliever. Thank the stars it did its job.
I suspect a dud blade - will toss it and see what happens next shave.

11/12/18

Brush - Yaqi Fan Tux
Soap - OSP Sandalwood
Razor - Yaqi DOC
Blade - Treet Silver (2)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - RSC
Splash - Superdrug Forest Fresh

I'm coming to the end of my sample of OSP, and it's been a delight to use and I'll definitely get a full sized container of it at some point.

The Treet Silver worked better in the Yaqi DOC than the Tech and was a very smooth, efficient and comfortable shave - great combination of blade and razor.
