Tempted to buy Haslinger Schafmilch soap

potassium stearate, sodium stearate, potassium tallowate, aqua, lac powder, parfum, sheep milk, arachis hypogaea, lanolin, potassium cocoate, glycerine, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, alpha-isomethyl ionone, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, CI 77891

Could be synthetic tallow of course.

Is that just for the Schafmilch one?

Well, here's the answer straight from the horse's.......er...cow's mouth. ;)

...
Ja in unseren Rasierseifen ist Rindertalg
enthalten.
(Rindertalg ist ein Abfallprodukt)...

Translation:
Yes our shaving soaps contain beef tallow
(Beef tallow is a waste product)

After using about half the puck or better I am ready to pronounce this one of the best soaps that I have ever used. I have done SxS tests with other top tier soaps using the same razor & blade and most were left gasping for air alongside this Austrian champion. It's in my Top Five easily. It quite simply checks all the boxes performance wise. I have used a few equal, but none better. :)

Fergiebilly, don't "saddle" me up & ride me too hard. :p ;)

My favourite Haslinger soap: Haslinger Honey with a piece of Erika Benke Tobacco & Black Amber added for that deep manly old grumpy scent. (Haslinger Sandalwood plus Art of Shaving Sandalwood is also quite a good match.) Solo Haslinger can be somewhat bland.

Yeah he got me too. Thankfully. Billy's German EBay seller is excellent too, gave me a sample of some of his own brand balm, Razzoor. Excellent stuff, very rich and moisturising.
