The Holy Grail of Shaving Creams... for £7.97!

Does anyone know if this cream actually contains triethanolamine? I've ordered a pot of the cream but while doing a little research it was mentioned that it contains this ingredient which is rather nasty.

Triethanolamine is used in small quantities to balance pH - makes it more basic/alkali. In small quantities not at all harmful but in larger ones is caustic and toxic for this reason.

Edit: it'll probably be in quantities of 0.1% max. Probably less than that.
 
Just wanted to say that I've come to agree wholeheartedly with Steve's initial post. I've never been a 'cream' person and was enabled by a rave review. Very glad I was!

Ignore the weird pricing policies, ignore the triethanolamine, ignore colour, scent and anything else. This cream has given me the best protection, post-shave comfort and skin feel I have ever had. I have been forced to buy two more tubs.

Fully agree & +1 Mr B. Great cream. After 4 month's use still half a pot to go!
 
Did anyone get nothing at all after ordering directly from their website? Got a 'order completed' email ninth of August, but nothing received yet and not had a response to my email!

Nope I got mine fairly promptly. Get in touch with them on Facebook, if that's a possibility for you. They've always responded to me on there with queries etc.
 
I see they've been trying to get rid of their shaving brushes and something called "beard oil" on Approved Food, a clearance store (great store actually). Not sure if we should be getting worried.

Eh, I kinda like the cream, but I can get that Creightons formula cheaper.
 
Currently on their website at £5.47.

I suspect there's some weird automated pricing thing going on here. It's not a very standard price. Quite cheap though.
