Prof. Blighty has offered to do me a pure glycerine, unscented soap, Nanny's do an unscented with goats and i'll check out the stuff you guys advised.

so from having no idea... i now seem to have a veritable smorgasbord of soaps to try :)

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but with all the new soap makers does anyone have new recommendations?

I also have sensitive skin, and the ones I've used are:

Vander hagen (but it's not great - I generally use just when traveling)

Ogallala Bay Rum Unscented (decent lather, but I'm just about done with the puck)

Soap Commander Integrity (I enjoy it, but I'd love a second great option).

Stirling Naked & Smooth. Also Stirling Sheep is unscented. And they do one that is Stirling Unscented with Beeswax.

Also, Simpsons Cream is available as unscented, and a very good performer for quicker lathering.

P&B unscented, thirsty but with plenty of water and brush work lather will be thick and slick, got a soapy smell (unscented is rarely the same as no smell at all)

I've found the Vitos Green to fade away by the time you have lathered your face up with it. It's tallow based so it helps the razor glide. Unfortunately it is sold in 1000gr block, but there are some sellers on eBay that sell 100/150gr to "try" it.
